Great bait additive
Do not use these if you don't want to catch the big slab Crappie. These are excellent to be added to a jig, minnow, etc. We use them with our beetle spins, etc.

Must-Have Bait for Every Crappie Trip!
These Crappie Magnet Slab Bites in white really surprised me — they actually work! I've caught a ton of crappie using them, especially when paired with hooks from the same brand. When I found them cheap at Walmart, I stocked up right away. For the price, they're absolutely worth it. If you fish for crappie, buy a lot — you won't regret it!

Nice sized bites, fits perfectly on trout magnets
Nice little sized bites, fits perfectly on Trout Magnet hooks. Easy to use, not messy or too sticky, and the smell is not as smelly as some other types of baits. Good price, value too.

These silver ones are the best in my opinion. Several times they have made the difference on tough fishing days.

Hasn't helped yet
It has a strong scent. You get a decent amount for the price. It should last several fishing trips. We tried them once so far with no luck but perhaps there were no fish in the area. These silver colored ones are not clumped together like the white ones, which is how they should be. Although when you go to put them into the jig head they squish the same way. Ease of use I would rate 5/10z. Will keep using them but so far they have not helped us catch fish. No catfish, crappie, or any other fish.

Doesn't work as advertised
These are designed to fit in the jig heads with holes but they don't fit well, even the official ones made by crappie magnet. So you squish them into the hole as best you can. It's a bit of a messy process. The pieces were clumped together instead of being individual pieces. Not sure if it's because they are old stock. I ordered 3 jars and they were all the same. They do have a strong scent but it hasn't helped to get more bites, let alone fish. Would not buy again.

Waste of $3 they are non scented u have to add ur own color and scent with pictures that dont show that
