Crate Creatures Surprise- Char

My boys had such a fun time opening the box to reveal the character inside. The creature has so many fun features and seems to be a higher quality than some of other gadgets/action figures we have collected over the years. I could see this being a fun gift for friends children or even an opportunity for my boys to expand beyond this single character. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I received this a week ago and waited to write a review to see if my 5 year old son would continue to play with after initially opening it he loves it ! He still gets excited to play with it every day ! Most interactive toys are geared towards girls this is perfect for boys he makes all kinds of cool noises it's eyes light up when you pull his tongue moves and shakes and talks the color is bright red and seems to be great quality I would definitely recommend this toy would make a great gift and provides lots of entertainment! I forgot to mention my little one loves the little cage (box) he comes in with the chain and lock ! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

My son (almost 7) LOVES this toy! It's fun to open because they have to undo a lock and chains, and use the crowbar to open the crate (which all worked great and were easy for him to both open and close on his own). There are multiple features: -he comes with a food treat that causes him to make sounds when it's put in his mouth -when you pull his tongue he responds with sounds, lights, and movements -you can squeeze his tail to make his wings flap—-this feature didn't work well on our toy; one of the wings seems bent and won't flap correctly -you can push a button on his stomach to make him record your voice for 10 seconds- this feature is easy to use -after recording, he says it in reverse if you hold him upside down and is supposed to repeat the recording with stuttering sounds when you shake him but we haven't been able to get the shaking/stuttering feature to work at all -he makes lots of silly sounds when you move him and push the various buttons With the exception of the wing and the stutter feature that don't work, the rest of the features are fun and cute! The concept of the toy with the crate is also fun and interactive. One improvement I would suggest is with the Velcro that can be opened and closed to access the power switch. It's sometimes difficult to get realigned and closed correctly and completely. The actual creature (without the crate) is small enough to bring when out and about. The little messages on the crate are a fun and engaging way to teach how to use the toy. It's been a huge hit with my son so far!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This toy provides endless fun for your little one! After just a couple of hours, my child declared that “this thing is amazing!” My son really liked that you can pull the toy's tongue and his eyes glow and the toy shakes. The toy, Char, comes in a crate which was another favorite part for my son. He also loves Char's marshmallow stick, especially when Char makes noises like he is chowing down on the marshmallow. Omg this little thingy was adorable as my kids would say. Every time they touch his tongue it light up and say words. They actually loved the fact that it was as if it was interacting with them and not to mention child friendly when it comes to toys my boys have found them something new to play with that they can both enjoy together, [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

i was not sure what to really expect with this one but I have to say that I love this toy. It is definitely a cool interactive toy. Had me laughing as soon as we opened it. and the colors are vibrant and fun. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Fair warning: this toy isn't the best role model for your kids. Expect your kids to get in major giggle fits and repeat the crazy noises this little guy makes. With that being said, my 4-year-old son loves this toy! It's silly, fun, and with 45 different interactive, motion sensing effects/sounds it keeps kids entertained for a long time. The instructions don't list all the effects, but half the fun is discovering them- some include the creature making sounds like he is blowing smoke and then coughs, growling and making "raspberry" sound when you pull his tongue, and flapping his wings when you squeeze his tail. He also has a feature where you record your voice and he says it back in a "monster" voice. To me it didn't sound "monster" enough, just a little deeper than your normal voice. When you first open the product, the monster is in "test" mode. The instructions say to change the batteries to 3 fresh AAs and then change to the play mode (thankfully with high and low volume options!). [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I gave this to my son as a 4th birthday present. He has played with it several times now. He loves putting it in it's cage and then taking it back out. He also loves recording his voice saying something and having the cage animal repeat it. The toys has multiple things you can do to it. It's funny and cute and I would say ages 3-8 would enjoy playing with it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

No marshmallow toy :( My son was super bumed. It stated that the "marshmallow snack" was included, but it looks like we got "dud." Disappointing... My son really really likes Char though, and the inter-activeness is great!
