Good crayola quality sidewalk chalk, will buy again

It was EXACTLY what was on the Back-to-School List!

I’m a 1st grade teacher, and have been ordering 22 of these for several years at the beginning of the school year to have ready for my students’ birthdays. They are great quality

This product is Crayola, I expect its performance to be excellent.

For what it is I'm pretty happy with it! Drawing with the stuff is nice, it seems to shade nicely and the square shape actually makes it easier to hold and keep still. Some of the colours are very vibrant like the purple chalk, it really pops! I got the standard 16 pack at the store with my mother and I also ordered the 48 pack which had a larger variety of colour and more red chalk which I needed. If I had one issue and this is a pretty minor but important issue, I think the red is a little lacklustre to be honest. It looks more pink than red. In the 48 pack the sunset orange looked more red than orange and even then its not quite the vibrant red I was hoping for. I drew a giant Winnie the Pooh which was somewhat washed by the rain (btw the chalk washes off quite easily), and had opted to use an actual red crayon for his shirt instead of the pinkish “red” that was in the packet. I used charcoal for black outlines instead of the standard black because the black seems to be more on the greyer side. Honestly if it had a more vibrant red or I could buy a whole packet of a more vibrant red that would be good. Hope you take my feedback on board and come out with a brighter “red” and a darker “black” (:

I really wish there was an option to buy just black, grey, and browns. I really need them for what we're doing.

I was very disappointed that the package I received is a mess, frayed and partially torn, and while the chalk inside appears intact, this was supposed to be a gift. I will have to buy something more presentable than this!

The colors are actually VERY pastel, not even close to the bold colors shown on the box. Okay, but dull

The box had 12 pieces and 8 were broken and they want me to send photos. I'm 62 and I don't have time for this nonsense.
