Crayola Color Studio HD iMarker Digital Stylus + App

I bought this for my grandson who is 5 for Christmas. He really likes it and I thought it was a great value for the price. You don't need to have a plug in anywhere because it is self contained and works with the Ipad as part of it's unit. just as described. Even my son was impressed.

I work with special needs children and bought this for them to use on my tablet. It's hard for me and my teenager to use. I can't even think of a child using it with out troubles. Not one of their better ideas. Hope they inprove it.

This was the most exciting gift for my daughter this Christmas this year, when I put the battery in and it lit up she screamed with joy. Then we tried to actually use it. Did not work. Did not color. They app works fine with your stylus, that you can buy for about $5. Then I started reading reviews about how you can only use it when you are not touching the ipad at all. Now my daughter is only 2 years old, how can she color without touching the ipad screen at all? I can't even do that without naturally holding the ipad to keep it still. We were very upset and she still ask where her light up pen is. But it would not even work with my sketch app that my finger would.

We bought this for my uncle who is developmentally disabled. He loves (even at 65) to color. I found the app online for Crayola before I even knew about the pen but I saw that part of the app would not work without a pen. I went on the hunt and found it at our local Walmart. My Uncle Tommy was happy to see it and excited to use it, unfortunately, it really didn't work. We tried lots of different settings to see if it was just certain parts but nope, it was everything. We thought maybe it was the case on my uncle's iPad so we tried it on my mom's iPad and it still didn't work. No case no nothing and it still didn't work. So... back to Walmart it goes. I am very disappointed and expect more from Crayola products. Back to the drawing board Crayola and Griffin!
