I learned the hard way that a very light touch is needed. Start off with a light line and add. I started off using them like a crayon and that was way too much. I'm not a professional artist just someone that likes to paint. I got these to try something different. They were fun and I liked all the colors. I would buy again.

Boight these for myself to try out aome water coloring without the pressure of a watercolor pallet and they are brilliant. Theres is more control with it being the aize of a wax crayon and you can add more color even while wet. Additionally, it can be used as a brush itself. Great fun for kid like art.

The packet of watercolor painting crayons was very well received by our daughter for whom we placed the order. We look forward to seeing the end product as she experiments with this new creative tool.

This was my first experience with this type of product and was surprised by the amount of pigment in each color. Works fine on regular papers but for blending, would recommend using mixed media or watercolor paper. Would be great for children, easy cleanup as well.

I would give these 5 stars except that half of them were broken . When I started using these I discovered that several were broken on one side of the container. I looked at the box and could see a crease where the box had been squished. I had already started using the watercolor crayons so I can't return them. Maybe Walmart should use a box for shipping these and not a shipping envelope.

They don't have the coverage I thought they'd have. They are basically very expensive crayons and nothing like watercolor paints. The papers identifying the colors wouldn't stay on after the first use. Very disappointed and will not buy these again.
