The case these Crayons and markers come in is sturdy. It has metal latches to close and open and a metal handle. There is room inside the case for some paper to lay. There are 16 scented crayons, 8 scented slim markers and 8 broad line markers. The markers labels name the fragrance, but the Crayons don’t. I wish they did. The paper wrap when you get the carrying case names what all the fragrances and their colors. Each Crayon and marker has its own spot to click into the carrying case for organizing. The spots hold them in place, so they won’t dump out when opened or held upside down. The Crayons individually are in plastic holders that you twist to lengthen, not regular Crayons where you must peel back the paper. Some of the Crayons and markers smell closer to whatever fragrance they are supposed to smell like than others. Marshmallow doesn’t really smell like marshmallow, but something like strawberry does. They all have a smell, but without knowing what fragrance it is, you might not be able to tell what it’s supposed to smell like. Once you’ve colored the picture, the picture smells like a mix of colors. You can’t really decipher between the smells. Not a bad smell, just a mix of smells. Which is better than the smell of regular markers. Then the smell lightens over time.

My four year old grandson was so excited to color with the scented crayons and markers! As he pulled each crayon or marker out of the case to color, he would try to guess which scent he was using and then we would read the scent written on the side of the crayon or marker to see if he was right. The scents are very distinct as you use them individually and I was able to still detect the scent of each color that he used on the coloring sheet several hours later. I considered rating this a 4 at first because when you first open the case, the combination of the scents clash. But, it's such a great little art set that kept my grandson busy for quite some time and he had such great fun guessing the scents that I have to rate it a 5. It would make a great gift!

This Crayola Silly Scents Art Case is a nice little set for a budding artist. It includes fine tipped and wide tipped markers plus 16 twist-up crayons. Each of these items is one of an assortment of fruit scents. I found it hard to pin down individual scents because they all sort of blended together in the case and overwhelmed my nose when I opened it up. The markers are very nice though, because they are Crayola, and that brand has always been excellent when it comes to crayons, markers and colored pencils. I would highly recommend this set for almost any child.

I'm reviewing the Crayola Silly Scents Mini Inspiration Art Case, I gotta say I really love the case that they come in it makes for great storage and to be able to keep all the markers, crayons, and drawings together to nice the case is made of wood and it's so bright with fruits of the scents, so it's very steady and the handles make it easy to carry. There are 2 different kinds of markers there is a broad line marker (cherry, orange, green apple, fresh air, watermelon, popcorn, beach, marshmallow scented), a slimline marker (strawberry, lime, cotton candy, root beer, lemon, blueberry, fresh air, and marshmallow, and the crayons (strawberry, popcorn, green apple, blueberry, wild berry, cotton candy, cinnamon, lemon, watermelon, beach, cola, grape, licorice). It also comes with 20 coloring pages and can be used with any coloring book as well as anyone you want to print. My Granddaughter really loves the scented markers ( she tries to make me guess what the smell is lol ) it's really nice that the case holds them she can just throw them in the box until done with them and like other markers that come in a cardboard box and roll all over it's great. I will definitely be expanding our collection.

Received my Crayola Silly Scents Mini Inspiration Art Case. Since this is made by Crayola, you know it is a good product and safe for the kids. He colors make it so attractive. I wanted this for my great granddaughter. She pulled it all out and started immediately playing with it. There are so many pieces with this case. I love the case that it comes in. It is durable and has snaps and hinges to keep it closed. Not cheap plastic like most cases. After play time we can put it all back in the case and put it up. It comes with scented, slim markers, and broad line markers and pencils.. The crayons are twistable, utilizing twist up technologies. She thinks that is pretty cool!!We love how all of the scents are so nice to smell. There are marshmallow, cotton candy, cola, grape, wild berry, green apple, orange, cherry, popcorn, beach and many more! There are over 50 pieces in all!! Also there are 20 coloring pages to get started with. The whole room smells of all these various smells! She loves it. She said she is going to make some beautiful art with this kit! We really recommend this if your child is tired of regular crayons!

I do like that the portable art set case exterior has Silly Scents characters and has a sturdy feeling handle for easy carrying. I have several grandchildren who still love arts and crafts so I am pleased this product will encourage creativity and not staring at screens. I do agree with the age recommendation as younger ones may put these in their mouth.

I love the variety of colors (markers, crayons, etc) included in this case. It is also nice that I can refill it with with new items when the markers run out, crayons get used up, etc. it’s also nice that it has enough space to hold paper inside. I would definitely recommend this to others. My 5 year old loves it!!

The graphics on the case are very kid and adult friendly that makes you automatically think you are going to have a ton of fun doing all kinds of projects. It is cool and we couldn't wait to open and smell the fun scents. It totally smelled before we even opened it up. On the box and promotion card it says there are silly scents. Definitely fun and different. We had fun smelling them and giving our opinion. There were for example: cinnamon, beach, cola, licorice, root beer, cotton candy and marshmallow to name a few. There were also the other ones that we were used to seeing like strawberry, blueberry and grape to name a couple. There are 16 scented crayons which I haven't seen before and 8 thick lined scented markers and 8 thin lined to color or draw with. Included in the kit are 20 fun coloring pages that had really cute designs. We enjoyed coloring with the crayons and markers a lot. The colors were vibrant and the crayons went on nice too. We were definitely impressed. If you have someone that you are looking for a fun creative gift for Christmas or birthday, I would definitely look at purchasing this.

This is a cute Crayola set I received free from the Spark Reviewer Program. I got it as an intended gift for my “non-girly girl” 9 year old. It comes with various fruit and food scented markers, crayons, and fruit themed drawings. There are 16 crayons, 8 broad line markers, and 8 thin line markers. There is repetition among the scents between the three styles (for instance there is a marker and crayon of each scent.) Each scent has an associated character. The drawing/coloring sheets are based on these characters. The carrying case is sturdy. It is made of press board card board, with a sturdy metal handle and latches. It is decorated with the characters and very colorful. We have not used this set yet to color with, as my kiddo is getting it for Christmas, but I did open it to check it out. The are similar to other brands of scented coloring products, in that they don’t quite smell exactly like what they’re supposed to be. The pictures are a bit on the silly side, but that’s what they are advertised as. I honestly don’t picture my little tomboy enjoying the drawings much, but she with enjoy using the markers with the Five Nights At Freddy’s and Super Mario coloring sheets I’m making her. I could imagine my silly 4 year old nephew and 8 year old girly niece loving these sheets, though. In fact, the characters remind me a bit of the Shopkins anthropomorphic characters a lot of kids like. Overall, I think the markers and case are going to be a hit here. The crayons will get less use, because my kiddo only uses crayons on rare occasions. She will likely use the sheets as scratch paper, but that’s cool. Every kid has their own personality. This set is very nice, though, I just wish the coloring sheets were a little less on the girly side of silly. Oh, and the broad line markers are made in the USA, the other markers and crayons China and Malaysia. The box is made in Vietnam and everything is put together there, if that is important to you. Everything is non-toxic according to the rating certification (see picture).
