[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 12 year old nephew enjoyed the wixels. I as an adult enjoyed the wixels as well. In my opinion, the age recommendation of 6+ is a little young for the amount of concentration and time it takes to complete. Overall, we really enjoyed the product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was just right for my 6 year-old granddaughter who sometimes has the attention span of a gnat! She liked using the color guide, but really enjoyed making her own pictures using both boards together. Gonna have to try other sets and make a huge picture!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was fun to use but did take time. It's a nice alternative to color by numbers especially because you can wash and reuse it. It's also nice that they give you 2 options to leave from and then you can make your own. It just takes some time to get the entire tile to soak up the color. All in all this was fun to do!

I like it because it's wash & reuse and a pixle.

Only suggestion would be to have more contrasting colors for the animals. The dog with the black and blue the colors were so close they are hard to differentiate. I would also recommend a tiny clip to keep the stencil on the board

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is really neat especially if you have a kid that is into Minecraft. Or possibly other pixelated games. Otherwise, it's very limiting and frustrating and they are very likely to switch to paper. It is cool that it is washable. The quality is great and it's durable.

I know it is meant for older children but it's right at his skill level! He only needed assistance holding the te plate still. Overall it's a cute project but it takes a lot of pressure to saturate the wixels and then requires a LOT of time cleaning it under running water per the directions.

He said it took too long, and when he tried to make his own picture, it was too abstract of a concept to make a picture with small squares. However, this is a really cool concept, and would be great for really artistic kids who are maybe older and more focused. The boards easily cleaned off. I would recommend taping them to the guide if you're using one. Wish it came with a frame/holder to display your own design once you're done!

I was excited to buy wixels for my niece. She couldn't wait to use it. Unfortunately the black and gray markers are missing. I tried to exchange but the store said you already opened it and used it. So I have a very sad niece. I would buy another one but I don't want any missing pieces.
