This is very Nutella like but with a bit of a grittier texture. I bought this after trying and loving the maple walnut butter. This is tasty on bananas and rice cakes and a great way to switch it up when you're tired of PB. This one is harder to mix upon opening, so just have to be a bit patient and put in a little extra time.

Not as smooth as it should be
I have bought this in the maple flavor many times, it was nice and smooth, but this one has many pieces of walnut in it. It is NOT what youd call "chunky", it just has like stray pieces that didnt get crushed good? It might just be that particular batch , not sure. I cant have nuts or seeds, which is why I mention this. The flavor is wonderful, price is pretty expensive though. But overall I do love this product and plan to try other flavors as well.

walnut butter
The oil had separated and spilled when opened. It was very hard to mix the oil into the walnut mixture. taste was good.

Walnuts, good, walnut butter, not so much
My Honey loves walnuts, so I figured that getting him a jar of walnut butter would be good, right? Hmmm, not so much. I tried it, but I'm not a huge fans of walnuts, and I got that it was a bit more "pasty" than peanut butter, even with stirring in the oil that forms on top (and the oil - that's a good thing). For me, it was also a bit more grittier, which my Honey concurred on, too. There's also a bit of added sugar (4 gr per 2 Tbsp serving), but it didn't track for me (the Honey did taste it). It may work for those who are really fond of walnuts and a grittier texture or in a baked item, but for us, not so much - returned.

Does Not Taste Good
If you can imagine taking Grandma's homemade fudge, and soaking it it rubbing alcohol. That's both the taste and texture.
