Cream of Wheat® Original 10 Minute Hot Cereal 28 oz. Box

This is so expensive to buy now that I almost didn't. But I was on a special diet for a while and this fit the bill. Too bad it cost a small fortune. Otherwise would've given it five stars.

I don’t inderstand how another reviewer stated it’ not worth the money if you’re looking for banana flavor. I say, just because the box is yellow, it doesn’t mean it’s banana flavored! Read correctly it states Original 10 minute Hot Cereal! Original does not equate to banana. My concern is the price. This item is virtually identical to another box of Cream of Wheat (pics added). While this box is @ $16.00, the other box is @ $4.00. The only difference is this box has a 10 minute cook time while the other (cheaper) box has a 1 minute cook time. Why the huge difference in price? Though I’d prefer the actual ORIGINAL 10 minute version, I can’t justify spending almost $20 for a box of hot cereal that has been around since i was a child!

This is not the original Cream of Wheat that I ate in my childhood. Original is called Old Fashioned, but try to find it. At this price is at about 5X too expensive, but you will never find Old Fashioned in the store. I wrote to the company and found an extremely lazy brand manager who could care less about their abysmal distribution. One more thing in American that got worse!

don't waste your money if your looking for banana flavor. yellow box no banana. could have saved a whole lot of money getting it in a local store

This Cream of Wheat, the 10 min kind, is my very favorite cereal but no way am I paying that price.
