Will buy again!

Maria December 20, 2025

It's a tradition my boyfriend and I have made, for every Christmas to build a gingerbread house. This years was by far the best on sturdiness ! Everything came in perfectly unbroken and ready to be build! I did taste test the head of my gingerbread man so I will say taste is about 7/10 but the fragrance is 10/10! Will be buying again!

Fabulous! Younger children will need assistance.

Susan December 8, 2025

Great price and easy of 14-year old to assemble themselves. I had to assist the 10-year old. Plenty of frosting and decorations. The kids I worked with like to make an entire scene, so they used their Halloween candy and other foods (marshmallows, Rice Krispie treats, sprinkles, coconut, chocolate chips, lifesavers, candy canes). I work with two children every year to decorate gingerbread houses. They love it!

Is that this would be a good idea to put together with a group of children each one had their own house and it was interesting how it all went down. The houses were good quality the cookies parts you had to put together were thick.... but unless you have the dexterity of an octopus with 8 arms to hold all of the pieces together as the icing sets up you're going to be laughing like we were with pieces falling and trying to hold them together....🤣🐙🤣🏠 But the product itself is well made and it came with enough decorations to assemble it but we bought additional candies to decorate it, To add our own personal touch. I personally did not eat any part of the cookie but some of the children did and some liked the taste and some didn't like the taste.... So I guess it's your personal preference whether you would like the taste of it or not.

Good kit for the money.

Nichole December 1, 2025

All the pieces were intact and smooth, and went together easily. I DO NOT use the included royal icing for construction though. Seriously, do yourselves a huge favor and just use a glue gun to stick it all together and cover it with icing and candy. Do you really want to eat stale gingerbread that has sat out with dust and likely manhandled with germy hands? Forget all the "it has to be 100% edible" talk and spend less time constructing a house that stays together, looks better, and you don't have to wait around for hours for the icing to dry. Bake some gingerbread cookies along side it that actually taste good for you and the kids to eat, along with all the sampling of candy decorations. Everyone will be much happier.

Bright, tasty, aromatic gingerbread house!

Rebecca December 9, 2025

This gingerbread house made such a fun family project for me and my two toddlers to make. Everything inside the kit was very fresh! We were very pleasantly surprised about the taste of the Gingerbread men, who both of my kids insisted on eating after decorating. The decorating was so fun. The kit doesn't contain a ton of candy, however, what was in there was very colorful and absolutely enough to decorate the house. The assembly was extremely easy! The icing worked amazing and had a very traditional icing taste (extremely sweet). Overall, this is a great fun activity for kids, I might even purchase another to do before the season is over.

Good Memory, but Not Tasty - just more clutter

Matthieu February 2, 2026

My 5 year old loved the shared memory we have of assembling this. But because it doesnt taste very good, it just sat in my kitchen for a month, and it just added to clutter during the Holidays. More than I wanted to spend on this.

cannot recomend this product

DRBRegulaCustomer November 16, 2025

arrived with box and cellophane intact, but several pieces were broken as though soneting had dropped on them. breaks were impossible to reattach with icing, so I put icing on them and ate some of them like large cookies. they were not hard and crispy, but on the soft side, so not suited to building a house out of them. decirations were all hard, including the piexes supposed to he soft and gummy. i didn't bother to use them and will give them away for kids to ise. i am very dissatisfied and plan to call for a refund later today. the royal icing was very stiff and did not stick to the gingerbread. having done cake, cookie, and gingerbread decorating for years, I have used royal icing that I made up myself, and know it is not supposed to be this hard. the icing bag had a hole in it next to the plastic housing for the built in decorator tip, and wgen squeezed, icing came out of that hole as well as the tip. that explains why the icingbwas partly dried and on the hard side.

Ehhhh not the best

brooke December 16, 2025

Entertained my toddler for a 10 mins until… it was time to assemble the roof. The roof would not stay on no matter what we did and it made it difficult to continue to do the activity. the “ trees” and the peppermint candy pieces would not stay. It only seemed like the smaller candies would stick on. If this was $5 or less it would make more sense given how this doesn't really stay put very well. If you're a serious gingerbread house maker I would not recommend.

Broke

Kel February 10, 2026

My kids were so excited to do a gingerbread house and they had fun putting it together until they were putting it all together, and it kept crumbling and falling apart, and the whole thing fell completely apart and would not stay together
