This was a last-minute project that I chose for my grandkids. They were having a school function and needed to dress up in Tie-Dye designed shirts. This product made it easy and fun for them to create their own shirts to their liking.

This item was purchased for my 11 year old granddaughters birthday party. Everyone that was invited was asked to bring a white shirt to the party with them. The kids and even the adults had a fun time doing this and everyone took home their creation...

Lovely colors. Extra dye washed out well. Colors were not as vivid after being rinsed. Let fabrics sit about 8 hours. Had one full sized set of sheets and pillow cases, one size 4 kids shirt, one extra large tank top and one xxl tee shirt. Plenty of dye. For all. More instructions would have been nice though. Letting fabric sit 24 hours may have made colors more vivid.

We used this twice. For the first one, 2 of my boys had a special dress day and could wear tie-dyed shirts (that I didn't find out about until the day prior). I fell asleep watching TV that evening and woke up around 4:00 am in a panic. I was able to dye the two shirts, I did throw in a little salt with the dye and wrapped the shirts in Syran wrap about 45 minutes after putting on the dye then threw them in the dryer on the steam setting for about 15 minutes. Rinsed and the shirts looked great. I then let the boys color a couple of shirts that afternoon with the remainder of the dye just following the provided instructions. All looked good. I would definitely purchase again if we needed tie dyed stuff!

This was a wonderful family activity and the quality of the dye was excellent. Easy to prepare and get value for the price.

Exactly what we needed and great for tie dying however I wish that the dye was reusable or my dye powder came in the kit since a few shirts in and the color runs out. But we were able to dye 5 kid shirts and 4 adult ones so definitely not complaining!

The good news. Colors are vibrant and beautiful. i had a 4 and 7 year old using it and with just some plastic gloves (not the ones in the box) they did such a good job with no dye on them. Which was good because its not easy to get off. Its also a bargain with all the colors you get for the price. But what you don't use you have to throw away.

It was what you would expect from an ordinary tie dye kit. nothing to get all happy about but also no complaints either.

Pretty easy to use dye kit. I like that the powder is already in the bottles and all that you need to do is add water and shake. Rubber bands and gloves provided are lacking in quality and I would not recommend using them. The rubber bands snapped so easily and most of the gloves had holes in them. I had a purple middle finger for a few days, my sister did, too. Some colors are lacking in quality, as well. After washing, the red dye turned to pink. My husband's not too thrilled about that. Lime green turned to yellow. Pictures submitted are before washing. Wish they would have stayed those colors. But they faded a lot. Followed directions on box to the last letter. But it was a fun family project to do.
