Creative Mark Museum Plein Aire Ornate Picture Frame - 11x14" - Gold Leaf - Pack of 2, High-End Antique Style Frames - Open Back with No Glass or Backing

This isn't the first of this wonderful collection of frames I've purchased, but it's the largest. I've reached the stage where I have to be serious about how my framing looks because my work is actually IN museums now and all five styles of the Museum Collection of the frames each with several color choices, will hold their own in museums and fine art collections. I bought several and at least one of each style in small sizes to check them out. I'm sold. Naturally your style of painting will figure into whether these are right for you.

The frame is beautiful, and the Warm Silver really complements a soft color pallet landscape. My only suggestion would be for Jerrys to include sturdier canvas offset clips to fit their more popular small canvas thicknesses (5/8", 3/4"?). The included flimsy clips can be bent to fit, but they are, well, flimsy.

I purchased several of these frames to get ready for a show in a gallery. Having similar frames added a note of professionalism that was absent from my usual display. I can reuse them when I turn out another painting and rotate my art easily with the findings that are included with the frame. They are sturdy and well made and will last and look good for a very long time .

I'm a beginner in buying frames, so as far as being able to compare with what's on the market, I'm pretty limited. But as I unwrapped and picked up this frame, I was wordless and really impressed. It's well build, solid, and just like the descriptions. Truly like this frame.

I use these frames for my Plein air oils. The dark wood enhances most of my paintings. Others look better with the silver liner. They are a very nice quality for the price.

Bravo! to this handsome frame adorning a rustic subject. My painting isn't plein aire...however this frame's uses are many. Made with precision it is sturdy and stylishly supports my work.

I used three of these frames for oil paintings. They are gorgeous. Easy to fit, simple to hang, definitely a highly recommended product. I gave a 4 star only because there aren't more options from this selection in terms of sizes and weights (the bulk of the frame). The other frame options (from other sources) are not as well made or are way too expensive.

The frame is very nice. The packaging would be more desirable without bubble wrap. Other frame sources use cardboard and plastic straps. Thanks for asking.

This frame was not finished. It didn't look like this finished frame with the silver band. I wouldn't buy this again but I didn't choose to return it due to the difficulty finding this frame size. I taped and painted it myself but it was a disappointment not getting the product that looked like the picture.
