It’s all fun and games until your raccoon gets attacked by the grass. I got this for my daughter and wound up loving it. I didn’t read the instruction and put the seeds then dirt then sand then rocks, but I feel like it turned out really well and grew really fast too. It’s a great way to show creativity and patience. I would also recommend putting the seeds on one side so it doesn’t attack the raccoon with its growth.

This is a fun project for 9 year old girls. I should have been supervising in the beginning. The soil does go first then the sand layers. Then top is half covered with more soil to insert the small seeds. The critters go on top of the other half on top of white gravel. Mist sand to make it stay in one line as you layer it. Tamp it down with a spoon to set it good before adding more sand color. Mist that too before adding the soil and seeds and gravel. A small spoon will help deliver the soil on top to one side only then push seeds in gently and mist it all then set in creatures on rocks and water again to wiggle them into a nesting position. We dumped a little water from the mister bottle to dampen down to the bottom soil layer. It was fun once we mist it each day and check for growth.

Bought this as a gift for my son , the instructions were clear as day but we poured all chia seeds on accident lol we were too excited, perfect activity for kids who loves crafts, and it came with regular stickers and glow in the dark stickers, also our seeds grew long so fast!

This thing is so cool!! It was actually my second time purchasing it. I bought it for my son several years ago when he was around 4, and although I thought it was the coolest thing, he didn't enjoy it quite as much so I wanted to try again when he was older. He's 9 now and he totally loved it!! super cool if you have a kiddo interested in that kind of thing.

My grandkids loved these terrariums! They are easy to construct. The only thing I would recommend is to use the entire contents on the terrarium and not hold back half for a second terrarium. There really is not enough of the colored glow in the dark sand for two applications.

This is an awesome hands on kit for children! It includes plenty of things to occupy time and for kids to have fun with and be creative. The colors are amazing.

This is a great gift for a hands on activity with the kids. It’s for all ages, even for toddlers with a little bit of help. Teaches a lot about the seats and the plans and the capybara thing is one of our favorites. We were able to grow it and to replant them.

I bought this for my 5 year old son. It requires an adult to help get the stickers on as there are a bunch and the stickers will overlap without help, but it was a blast. The seeds did sprout within the 3-4 days as stated on the box. This is a very great kit at the discounted price, I would hesitate at the full amount. This was a lot of fun.

I bought this for my niece’s birthday and she absolutely loved it. The capybara theme is adorable, and the kit was easy for her to put together with minimal help. She had so much fun building it and was so excited to watch it grow and glow. I really liked that it mixes creativity with a little learning, making it both fun and educational. Such a cute and memorable gift for kids.

My daughter loves capybaras and we got this for her as a gift, it's so fun and cute to put together but did not start to grow until after a few weeks lol (maybe we did something wrong?) but other than that it's cute
