This item was so cute. It was perfect for my 7 year old. It's a mix of fun and crafting! So easy to put together and make it your own. Looks so cute and watching the chia grass grow was the best part! So cute.

Very cute and fun activity, my child really enjoyed watching the seeds grow and enjoyed decorating the container. Our seeds sprouted within a couple days. It makes a green house effect, extra seeds to plant later as well as alittle extra colored sand and dirt.

Everything was of good quality and there was plenty extra to make another little display in a cup or something if desired. It is small enough to not take up a lot of room and was easily assembled.

The seeds have started growing and she loves watering them and seeing them get bigger. I just wish the lid would stay on better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fantastic activity for kids home for summer vacation or kids who are homeschooled. It brings gardening right to your kitchen table. Setup was fairly easy. The instructions were very clear and easy to understand. My kids loved decorating the planter. It didn't take long for the plants to sprout. Seeing the growth each day was pretty exciting and gave us something to look forward to each morning. In my opinion this is a wonderful way to teach kids about gardening. It has everything you need for a good price. It looks really nice and makes cool decor. I would definitely recommend. I took off one star because it can be a bit messy. My kids knocked it over so you definitely have to make sure to place it somewhere where this will not happen.

It was a little confusing at times, but overall we found it to be fairly simple to put together. She loved decorating it and she was excited to see some Chia plants growing. The instructions could have a bit more detail in them. We didn’t realize we were supposed to only put some of the rocks down until after it was too late. I know it said it later than the instructions but not clearly in the middle of them. overall, it’s a fun little toy and we are enjoying it.

It’s a plastic egg like container, designed with a small hole on top to allow for watering and air. It’s about 6in and not heavy… it’s basically like a hands on craft to grow a little dinosaur jungle with chia seeds! It grows with the power of sunlight! Super cute. The kids get excited to check on it daily!
