Most all of the directions she was able to do herself with little guidance. And now she gets to look at her accomplishment all the time and admire it. I love that they aren't traditional toys and that kids get to build or create something cool. This is perfect for a 6 year olds birthday gift. We love the colors. It's pretty straightforward with the directions. It's not too messy if you make it in the box. Really great toy!

The instructions weren't super clear, so my kids had a hard time understanding how they were supposed to layer it. Some of the stickers didn't stick, so the final unicorn didn't have two wings. The sand color scheme wasn't my girls favorite. But overall it was fun to do and it was a fun activity. The girls really loved doing it as a craft.
