NOT suitable for blackboard, might work on sidewal
First of all, the box must have been dropped a lot, bc most of the pieces were broken upon arrival and I'm fussy about that. I like whole sticks. Second, it might be all right on a SIDEWALK, but this is definitely NOT "blackboard" chalk. It doesn't go on smoothly, the colors are not very rich, and most bothersome of all, it doesn't erase well. It leaves ghosting, suggesting it likely has binders in it that area better suited to sidewalk chalk than blackboard chalk.

Both boxes of 60 each, arrived with every stick of chalk broken to pieces!!! Should have been packed much better for shipping.

Arrived broken
I ordered both a box of colored chalk and a box of white. Recieved the white one first in perfect condition. Then this one be came weeks later looking like it has been through heck. It was probably beaten up along the way. I ordered through Walmart online and getting a return is difficult for me so I'm m probably stuck with it. Not much left to return anyway love the white chalk.

Don't bother
I ordered this thinking it'll be what is pictured- a bucket of chalk. Instead I tiny box of dollar store chalk arrived after a month of waiting. Over priced!!!! Very disappointing and do not recommend.

Every piece of chalk was broken into tiny pieces! Was very disappointed when it came, as I have to buy more as these were useless
