Cheap Material
I would just like to say that yes this lure does actually work. I fish the black river in upstate ny and the bass seem to love dark colors in the dark water. However the lure quality is pretty bad. Now the bass do hit this lure pretty good on the river i fish how ever on the third strike with this lure the fish ripped off its leg and about the 5th strike the hook had ripped through the belly and almost completely out of the lure body. If this lure was made of better material that wouldn't be damaged so easily this would be a very good lure but after about the 10th strike on the lure i had to quite using it because it was destroyed. And granite $6 a lure really isn't bad for how well it works but if it can't handle the fish striking it you will be replacing the lure quite often.
