[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great adjustables from the OG of adjustables. I like the modern design of these wrenches. The black accents on the handles make these stand out. The grooves on the jaw face add gripping power. Very modern adaptation of the classic Crescent design. The two pack of 10 in and 6 in gives needed versatility for different applications. The wrenches are relatively lightweight and comfortable to use. I used these for several jobs including connecting the oil line to a furnace in the picture. The markings near the nut seat indicating size are a great feature, helping the user identify what size nut they are working on. I did get quite a few questions about them on the job site. I had a few fellow tradesmen try them out and the overall consensus was that these are good quality. The only flaw I noticed was that on the 6 inch wrench the thumb screw would bind the first couple of time I use them but with a quick shot of penetrating oil the problem was solved. A good product from a trusted name. These will be in my install bag for oil and gas fired residential heating equipment. Right now I have these held together with a large carabiniere clip making them easier to find in my tool bag. I'm not sure if these come in a larger size but a 12 inch model would be great. Adding the 12 inch wrench to the 6 and 10 inch in a three pack would be a winner for sure.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The wrenches work great and the serrated jaws add additional grip. The wrench hasn't loosened up while working bolts/nuts loose, either. The wrench length is nice for tossing in my work bag, due to the size. I would like to see these wrenches with a longer handle, as well. Overall, it is a good product!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly wouldn't have thought there would be much to review about an adjustable wrench. I was wrong though. These actually feel great in the hand. Nice grip/texture. The adjuster is tight and doesn't just roll lose every time I try to use it. The larger one is actually a gray feel in my hand and very well balanced throughout. I'm not constantly afraid that it's too weighted on the head that I will drop it off in something to spend an hour digging it back out. The smaller one seems quite sturdy despite its very light weight. Overall extremely happy with these two. I have several other brands of these but the crescent ones will definitely be my go to now. Good quality and well thought out design.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not like the cheap wrenches you get at harbor freight or auto parts stores. No jaw flex when you lock them down on a nut or bolt. Ridged teeth on inner jaws really help it bite down and hold great. Oversized jaws really come in handy when working between different sizes.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I hear of Crescent as a company the first thing that comes to mind is adjustable wrenches, so I expect them to be the best. These definitely deliver on that. Both wrenches have a great build quality that seems like will last the test of time. They feel very nice in the hand. The adjustment is very smooth and the amount of slop in the wrench end is minimal. There is virtually no slippage while turning nuts and bolts so rounding off won't be an issue. Having both the large and small wrenches is great for diffident applications.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like these wrenches, they are well made and work as intended, I did not have issues with the claws slipping. I would definitely recommend these. I like the 2 sizes so it lets you use them in different applications.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are really well crafted adjustable wrenches. The quality surprises me compared to others that I have, and I have some pretty nice tools (Snap On, Mac, Matco, etc). The jaws on these adjustable wrenches open so much wider than any other adjustable that I've ever owned. Definitely earned a place in my toolbox!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really like this set of combination wrenches. I used them to replace a hot water heater last week without issue. I like that they are marked with inch measurements on one side and metric on the other so that you can rapidly size up what you are working on. Tools both feel solid in hand and don't have a lot of slop in the adjustment. Great set to have in the kitchen junk drawer or your car.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These two adjustable wrenches were the perfect tools for a recent faucet replacement project of mine. The wide smooth jaws of the larger wrench enabled me to disconnect and reconnect several chrome plumbing fixtures with out scratching or otherwise damaging the delicate surfaces.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These adjustable wrenches are next level. The attention to detail is amazing in these wrenches, starting with the jaws being serrated this is a game changer in getting stubborn things loose and not worrying about busting you knuckles. Next is they are laser engraved with SAE sizing on one side and metric on the other. These wrenches have smooth operating adjusters with no slop in adjustment like lower quality wrenches. They have a smooth finish so you apply maximum torque without hand discomfort. Overall these wrenches would be a great addition to the Diy person all the way to a professional toolbox.
