[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent 14” aluminum pipe wrench. This tool works great on smaller ridgid pipes. Especially when they are close together. Light weight and strong. It can easily fit in my tool back pack. I highly recommend this tool.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I typically gauge a pipe wrench's quality off the cut/sharpness of the teeth and how well they grab the pipe or fitting. This pipe wrench did not disappoint! So much better than my bargain store pipe wrench I had before this! I just used it to adjust the tie rod and drag link on my new truck after changing the suspension, and it gripped extremely well. Lightweight, quick adjustments, secure grip. I don't know what else you could want!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used the Crescent 14" Aluminum pipe wrench on a number of jobs recently where I would normally reach for a standard cast steel wrench. It's significantly reduces weight is very useful when on a ladder or when at reach to reduce fatigue without any noticable reduction in performance. The tooth profile seems to work well on brass fittings and hasn't cause any damage despite what the tooth profile may suggest.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pipe wrench has some serious bite! The jaw range is perfect for most plumbing work but, there are tons of other uses for it as well. The best feature is the lightweight build. Compared to traditional iron pipe wrenches, it feels light as a feather. Of course, the light weight helps to prevent fatigue but it also aids in controlling the tool. The grip area is a little slick right out of the packaging but it will wear down in time or else I will wrap grip tape on it. With it's firm grip on pipe, wide jaw size range, light weight, and quality build, what's not to love?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing was perfect for my first project with it. I like to rebuild old bikes, and any bike that has sat for over ten years will likely have a stuck rusted stem in the fork. I used this wrench to break the rust seal, and then turn out the stem. It is a solid wrench, but I appreciated the lighter weight from aluminum which allows me to work longer without taking breaks. The jaws are great as they still grip the pipe if held at an angle, which is good as I found out. It took some doing, but I was able to remove the stem pipe from the fork, and save the fork on a bike from 1982.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LIGHT with a strong bite! Good grip on the pipe. The jaws have very sharp teeth to grab whatever you are attempting to use it on. Teeth bite in great and don't slip. The adjustment is very smooth. I strongly recommend this wrench over competitors aluminum wrenches. Wrench well built.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is well balanced. The teeth are extremely aggressive. I was worried about how loose the head is, however, when put to use, it grips down with no issues. This will be my go to for pipe wrenches
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pipe wrench is amazing. The fit and finish is of the highest quality. The jaws have incredible bite. The wide jaws are very secure on all pipe sizes. The K9 jaw teeth make offset gripping spectacular.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this wrench. Teeth bite in great and don't slip. The adjustment is very smooth. I strongly recommend this wrench over competitors aluminum wrenches. I have three crescent aluminum wrenches (36in, 18in offset and this 14in) and this 14in is definitely a welcome addition to my tools
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in the process of removing and replacing the furnace in our home and needed a new pipe wrench to replace my old one. I decided to upgrade to the Crescent 14” aluminum pipe wrench for a couple of reasons. First, I wanted a lightweight pipe wrench that would save a few pounds in my tool bag since I am constantly unloading/loading tools and hauling them around. It is lighter than I even expected! I also wanted to try this because it has a full 2” jaw capacity which should be plenty for both my home and automotive (rusty inner tie rods) use without having to buy or carry multiple wrenches. The Crescent pipe wrench was awesome when I needed to disassemble and reassemble the old iron pipe for my natural gas to my furnace. I didn't experience any slip or loss of grip whatsoever and it was really nice to have the weight savings while holding the pipe wrench in one hand and iron fittings and piping in the other. The adjustment collar has plenty of grip even while wearing winter insulated work gloves and is easy to use without any binding. It also appears to have a more course adjustment thread than I am used to which really reduces the amount of time you have to sit there trying to adjust the wrench to the appropriate size. Highly recommended! This thing exceeded my expectations and if I end up needing a bigger pipe wrench ill definitely be getting another aluminum Crescent pipe wrench!
