Crescent CPTAW8 11 Pc. Pass-Thru X6 Black Oxide Adjustable Wrench and Spline Socket Set

The first time I used this wrench, the ratcheting system "exploded" when trying to remove a socket from the wrench. When trying to put all the parts back together, the ratcheting would not work correctly. The warranty form online does not find this specific product, which make it an hassle to get a replacement. Great idea, but poor execution. I advise to tape solidly the plastic cover that gives access to the ratcheting mechanism, so that it does not come out.

I bought this as my everyday carry around the ship. I've bent quite a few jaws torquing on fasteners, and most get loose quickly. Now, for 2 months straight, the jaws still hold very tight (mine are actually slightly pinching at the top, so not parallel) and seem super sturdy. The ratcheting set is great and has saved me some time fumbling between imperial/metric and wrong sizes. Fits nice in the hand and the pocket. Would buy again.

This is a fantastic tool to share space with my other equipment. I love it! Standard and metric all in one, less is more. Weight is the enemy. I get happy when I use this tool. This is not a toy. 100ftlbs+ Others try to take and borrow and I say get your own!

I use it every day on the job site in one way or the other, its with me in my truck or equipment I use. after using it for 2 years I can say no problems but I do have some improvements to suggests; 1. the packaging / storage "NO plastic" 2. complete socket set to 1" 3. incorporate the locking vise grip feature 4. include at lest a 6" extinction. P.S. keep up the good work a lot of people like myself are looking for quality built tool & its getting vary hard to find anything not made by STANLEY group "junk" anymore.. step up your game we are out here.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tool was a great addition. I am able to carry less tools since this is a socket set, adjustable wrench and pipe wrench in one. The pass through sockets are a plus for long bolts or threaded rod. The sockets are very durable and high quality.

The wrench works great and I really appreciate the pass through feature that allows me to do deep socket work with these normal sockets. The only issue I had with the product was the socket was slightly to thick to fit in a minimal clearnce bolt opening while changing a toilet seat. This tool has been great for every other project I have had and been really useful.

The sockets stay in place well and I love the pass through aspect, in my work I use a lot of threaded rod and it's a bit easier than using a wrench. Impressed for sure

I wish the tolerance on the jaw was a little tighter but other than that, a great tool to add to my collection. Used it to remove wheels on my sons bike and random plumbing jobs. Also swapped out a circulator pump.

bought this with moderate expectations that it would be as good as any Crescent product I have purchased in the past, but before the first use I tried to flip the jaw around and it would not function it is completely bound up, secondly that iffy looking c clip that is supposed to retain the sockets is like an afterthought and the smaller sockets are brutal to get past that clip . I have no doubt that clip will be the first fail point ( correction second) lol
