Great for tge diy'er!

Jared Milkyway August 16, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, so good. These have been great for occasional use as a diy'er. I'd recommend these pliers for the weekend warriors out the. Not sure how they'd do in the professional field. I'm sure I'll get plenty of use out of em.

Nice clamp

Trex108 August 7, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this little clamp to use when making pocket screw holes. It fits the bill perfectly. Holds tight while I drill the holes and drive the screws. Has a hex head adjustment bolt on the handle for fine tuning pressure vs just using your hand. Only thing that I'd like to see on them is the option for coated pads or a cover for the pads for softer woods and more delicate surfaces. Overall very nice and will be buying more in different sizes

Great clamp

Lynch95 August 3, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this little 6” C clamp about a month ago and hadn't gotten around to using it until a couple days ago. I'm currently learning to weld and this little clamp is the best for holding together two pieces of metal while welding. Seems to be a better clamp than others that have been in my tool box for years at this point. Good quality and ease of use for the price.

Feels good in the hand

dmoe0826 August 22, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great little clamp. I've been using this mostly in place of another brand of clamp associated with pocket holes... Works just as well for far cheaper. I don't have any negative comments about it... It's a locking clamp that does what it's supposed to do every time.

Solid built, easy to use

Don August 19, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this two/three weeks ago. I have used this limitedly during that time. First impression is it is very solidly built, the hinge alignment along with all pivot points work very well. The adjustment screw was a little 'rough' but backing out the screw brushing the threads and applying a silicone spray lubricant, the threads smoothed out and is a pleasure to use now. After a few uses, I used the locking C-Clamp to hold and align some angle iron for a spot weld or two. The clamp worked great especially the C part. Regular vice grips would have held the joint, but the C-Clamp could hold the joint and be out of the way for the welding. I also used the clamp on some woodworking. With the size of the clamp pads being on the smaller size, I was afraid it would mar the wood. I made a couple of 2" round pads out of some old paneling and placed them between the clamp pads and the work, no problems with the pads marking the final product. I plan to make more permanent pads out of some thin plastic just for the woodworking and softer sides of my hobbies. Two things really impressed me 1) the pads are parallel! 2) the hex head adjustment! Why hasn't someone thought of this years ago? The ONLY negative I can see with this clamp is the clamp release. For me it is very hard to get it to release the clamping force. I didn't count this against the tool because, I have several clamping pliers from a couple of vendors and this is the same story with them as well. I believe the main problem is the over 70 years I have on the hands used to release the release. I plan on purchasing a couple of the larger size C-Clamps in the near future. I highly recommend these, more expensive - probably, quality - definitely.

Compact but Strong!

DPBucky August 24, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This C-Clamp is compact at 6 inches but it has proved to be capable and strong on the last month that I've been using it. The alloy steel construction makes it a good weight, with durability you can feel. The tightening screw has no trouble turning in or out for quick adjustment, while the cushion gripped trigger makes release super easy without causing any discomfort. On top of all this, the clamp heads swivel to make it to where I was able to clamp anything I wanted to down at whatever angle I had to work with. I used these primary on wood to wood, but also tried it on my granite countertop and the clamp held STRONG. While the clamp size is what it is at 6 inches long and the jaw is about 2 inches wide, I favored this clamp over others I have for the jobs I was working on because of its quick and easy release, smooth adjustment, and compact size yet strong grip. I would definitely recommend this for small jobs around the house or with other woodworking projects.

Great small clamp for around the house

Jason76 September 2, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was provided this locking clamp for a review. It's small and lightweight enough to toss into a toolbox, but seems to be very sturdily constructed. The swivel pads are nice for uneven surfaces, but they are a little wobbly if you're trying to clamp onto a thinner edge, just something to keep in mind but not an issue. Locking handle is strong and easy to use one handed. I can't comment on durability because I've only used them a few times, but they feel durable and higher quality.

Easy to use

Mick2020 August 21, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works perfect for small welding jobs. Great clamping power. Used this c clamp to hold small pieces together while welding. Held pieces tight and didn't slip. Easy to release when done. Handle cover has great texture for dexterity.

Not too bad, but slightly lacking.

MRogers September 12, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I found the features of this locking c-clamp to be adequate, with a slight detraction. I used this for a DIY project and the clamping aspect was decent, but I found the overall strength to be lacking for what I was looking for. Perhaps it was user error, which is why I gave it 4 stars and despite that detraction, I still appreciated the build strength and overall feel of it in my hands.

It clamps. It really clamps!

Lousypirate August 16, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It does everything that you'd expect out of a locking C Clamp. Plenty of available force. Swivel pads help lock it in place. Has a good feel in the hand, and doesn't have any awkwardness work operate one handed. My only regret would be that I don't personally need this smaller size, and would just buy all of them as the bigger size except for maybe a pair of the smaller. There aren't many applications for this type of tool that need it to be smaller, unless you're in a really small niche of woodworking or something of that nature.
