Crescent Lufkin 1.5 oz Blue Compact Chalk Line Reel 50 ft. Braided

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 50' reel is perfect size. I specialize in framing construction and use this type of tool on regular occasion. I prefer a smaller more compact tool pouch and this is the perfect fit. Durability does not seem to be an issue as I have drop it a few times. I like the end hook as it has its own design and grabs on to osb really well. Overall I am really impressed with this tool and plan on purchasing the 100' reel soon. Only criticism is I prefer a higher permanence chalk but that is easily overlooked with the quality of this tool.

Easy to use, nice dark lines, and great tip for grabbing edges. Fills relatively easy. For home projects this is a wonderful little tool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chalk line bundle is very well put together. The anchor end is made different from the others and holds very tight. The included chalk is very easy to see. Value is great because you don't have to purchase the line and chalk separately.

I can't believe how much a simple tool like that could be improved! This chalk line is compact, and reels back in so quickly and easily. The line seems to be very durable and the blue chalk was was to see. For such a basic tool, I came away very impressed.

It snaps a clean line, it's smaller than my Milwaukee box making it easier to get out of my pouch, it feels really durable, and I like the hook design. About the only negative thing I can say about this product is I wish they had a high gear ratio on the chalk box. This thing takes a lot more effort to get the chalk line back in compared to my Milwaukee box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was initially surprised at how small this was. I frame houses and use chalk lines almost daily. First use was for marking plywood for a roof. Worked well, laid a mark well. I usually get 6x ratio for faster wind up, but for shorter lines, can't say I minded the 3x on this. With it being 50' I still need another chalk line for longer spans but overall, this line will cover most needs. It's smaller size makes it a bit easier to grab out of my nail bag, plus it's a bit lighter than my usual line. Overall I'm impressed with this line. Will have to see how long it lasts since I typically go through 4-5 chalk lines a year.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chalk line is more compact than most. It fits in tool belts alot easier that the bigger bulkier ones. The clip grabs better than most on drywall and plywood. Only gave it a 4 star because I have not had it long enough to test its longevity. I would definitely recommend this tool to anyone that is looking for a chalk line
