The charcoal seems to definitely help with whitening teeth and it leaves mouth feeling fresh and clean and Leaves just the right amount of that minty taste without being too overwhelming. this is a good toothpaste. it tastes good and makes me feel clean. i'm not sure if it makes my teeth whiter, but it feels clean. it lasts a couple hours if you don't eat anything.

Can't remember how many years I've been using Crest's CharcoalToothpaste (maybe since 2019?). The first time, I was skeptical of black toothpaste whitening my teeth. The whitening part works ok, but the primary reason for sticking to this brand is keeping tonsil stones away! Within the first week, I was spitting out stones I didn't know I had. If I take a break from using it, and use a different brand, or non-charcoal product, the stones reappear (a few months later). Thank you, P&G! Sincerely!!

I really like this toothpaste. It's got a nice cool mint flavor that's not overpowering and it helps whiten without making your gums agitated

My daughter has been using this toothpaste exclusively for a while now, and we've been alarmed to discover that her teeth are becoming stained. Instead of whitening, this toothpaste is causing yellow/brown staining. She's not a coffee drinker, not a smoker and takes impeccable care of her teeth.
