Crest Baking Soda & Peroxide Whitening with Tartar Protection Toothpaste, Fresh Mint, 6.4 oz, Pack of 3

I have been using this toothpaste since ment-a-dent, in the two barrel set up became hard to find, and I have loved it's performance and feeling in the mouth.

I've been using Crest toothpaste for years & this one is my go to toothpaste...I prefer this one & try to always have an extra one in the house...It has a great refreshing taste.

We are in our eighties and have used Crest Baking Soda & Peroxide Whitening Toothpaste with Tartar Protection for many, many years. Neither of us have had a cavity in over ten years. The daily benefit is a clean, fresh taste and feel with refreshed breath. This Crest is the Best..

My mom brushed her teeth with peroxide and baking soda all her life and so have I. Good stuff.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before I start this, I should mention that I can't stand baking soda toothpaste. Something about the alkalinity sets my teeth on edge (no pun intended!). However, I am told it is good for me, so I gave it a go. It turns out I was very pleasantly surprised! Compared with other baking soda type products I have used before this has a very mild flavor, which I appreciate. As someone who suffers from morning nausea not being knocked over by mint or baking soda flavors is incredibly important. The only downside of the mild flavor is that it did not keep my breath fresh quite as long as I would like, but it is a fair tradeoff in my book. I appreciate that this toothpaste creates a lot of foam. This is partly because we all secretly want to feel like a wild beast while brushing our teeth (don't try to deny it!) but also because it felt like the foam was reaching every space between my teeth and getting them extremely clean.

Not sure if its baking soda or peroxide or combination of both, but this toothpaste causes severe mouth sores. I thought its just me but even my spouse has the same complaint.
