It doesn't have that hard core charcoal taste or have that crazy grit either. It does clean your teeth and help your gums which is why my family loves this toothpaste and at this price how could you not want to try it?

I have really bad gums that (used to) bleed all the time. This toothpaste is healing my gums. Yay. My teeth are whiter and brighter than ever. And my mouth feels sooooo clean. Highly recommend. This is now my toothpaste for always.

After, brushing my teeth they felt smooth and clean. I have used this toothpaste for several weeks and I'm really pleased with the results. My teeth are looking whiter and my gums aren't bleeding as much as they were before I started using it. I plan our continue using this toothpaste and would recommend for others to try it.

It is black in color, however, there were no stains left behind after brushing. There was a nice fresh scent after brushing as well. This charcoal toothpaste is just as nice as the other Crest toothpastes. I would buy again

I had high hopes that this toothpaste might finally be the toothpaste that ends that issue for me. It did not. However, I still like using it. I about trying the charcoal in the paste, but it works just like any other toothpaste you'd buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you find that the flavor of regular mint toothpaste is too strong, then this is the toothpaste for you. I haven't noticed a difference in the feel of my mouth, but I don't feel as clean as when using regular mint paste.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I like most about this toothpaste is this doesn't get all over your mouth and dirty up the sink. Most charcoal base toothpaste gets absolutely everywhere. I felt my teeth and gums were instantly clean.

It's pretty good. The consistency is a little weird but not disgusting. You become accustomed to it after a couple of uses. It has a good taste and it's not to strong. It leaves a clean feeling but no more than normal toothpaste. I like it and it cleans well, but for the price I expected more. I wouldn't buy it again.
