It doesn't have that hard core charcoal taste or have that crazy grit either. It does clean your teeth and help your gums which is why my family loves this toothpaste and at this price how could you not want to try it?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this twice a day for about a week now. This is the longest I have ever been able to use a charcoal toothpaste without stopping. It does not make my teeth sensitive which is AMAZING. I have seen a difference in the color of my teeth as well. Since using this product I have been able to floss without bleeding gums. It took about 2 days for my gums to not bleed but I love that I don't have this issue anymore. This also doesn't have a bad taste like others which makes it easier to use for the longer duration. I would suggest this to anyone who is looking to better their gums and or brighten their teeth.

I have been having gum problems so I'm glad to find a toothpaste that targets that.

Now I don't what ingredients provide the detoxification but I can tell you this paste leaves your mouth feeling very fresh and clean. I really bought it for the whitening properties but really enjoy the clean feeling I get after brushing. Like it better than other charcoal pastes.

It is charcoal and takes some getting use to the black color in the sink. I am sure using it for an extended period of time would be good for your teeth and gums.

It's pretty good. The consistency is a little weird but not disgusting. You become accustomed to it after a couple of uses. It has a good taste and it's not to strong. It leaves a clean feeling but no more than normal toothpaste. I like it and it cleans well, but for the price I expected more. I wouldn't buy it again.

This toothpaste is good in the sense that it smells and feels fresh, but I don't love the filmy feeling it leaves. It doesn't foam much which I don't mind, but is also a small amount for the cost.
