Cricut - Joy Machine - Grey/Aqua

I am so glad I bought this! I’m finding myself using it constantly. The size is perfect and I’m doing tons of print and cut projects. It’s so easy to slide it around on my work surface, and it’s absolutely ideal for anything involving 8.5x11 paper. (I have an original Maker that’s been struggling due to eroded rubber rollers, and I’ve hardly used it since I got my Joy Xtra.)

It was a learning curve for me. I bought it to only cut out paper ephemera. It's supposed to accept jpegs but it won't accept all of them. Some jpegs have to be resized tp pngs to work. That is frustrating. But I'm adapting. So all i all i like it.

That is actually my Christmas gift to my friend. She really wants one and is really expensive. We have only settled here in Maui and are currently working as teachers. We are still paying off our huge loans and buying that for a good price did make us happy. She tested it, and it worked soooo well! Thank you for this deal. You made teachers like us very happy!

I bought the Joy because I was starting up a small business and honestly I just couldn’t afford the larger machines. This little machine does not disappoint! The design space is super easy to use and the machine itself is very lightweight and easy to use. I have since upgraded to the maker 4, and now the kiddos are using the Joy. I highly recommend this machine for anyone starting out just trying to get their foot in the door or for kids! Happy crafting!

I absolutely love the Cricut Joy Xtra. It’s so quick and easy to use, which makes crafting feel a lot less intimidating. The setup was simple and I was able to start making projects almost right away. The machine cuts really well and the whole process feels smooth and straightforward, even if you’re not super experienced with crafting machines. Another thing I really like is the size. It’s compact enough that it doesn’t take up much space on my desk, but it’s still big enough to handle plenty of different projects. It’s the perfect size for someone who wants a capable machine without having a huge piece of equipment sitting out all the time. Overall, it’s been a great addition for making decals, and little craft projects. It’s fast, easy to use, and the size makes it really convenient to keep out and use whenever inspiration hits. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone who wants a simple and reliable crafting machine.

Cricut joy extra bundle. Wow you get so much to try out, espeacially for a newbie like me! The bundle is so cost effective, you even get a cutting machine.Ive yet to try the machine out, that’s because I also have the cricut Joythat I’m getting acquainted with. But I would highly recommend either, especially with the design package, the help is there for you.

Loving my cricit joy extra! It’s small but mighty and I love that it does not take up too much space. My whole family loves that I bought it and asks me to make them things all the time. If you’re on the edge of getting one, I recommend pulling the trigger and practicing!

Works as expected cutting vinyl and sticker paper, it does have trouble cutting through laminated paper however, even with the pressure set to more. Especially so with holographic laminate etc, so to fix that I copy and pasted my stickers on top of each other so it would cut it out twice and that seemed to work. Also it does NOT come with the sticky mat, which is needed if you want to cut anything other than the cricut smart vinyl. It would be helpful if it said this on the site but it does not unfortunately. Other than that I’m pretty happy with it!

Was very excited to finally get and use a Cricut for my crafting, and everything was great until I ran the Cricut Design Space app, which is required to use the Cricut, and it only throws generic errors and refuses to run. I've tried to resolve this for several weeks, trying everything I can find on the support site or elsewhere online and none have worked. Despite tons of people running into this issue there is no apparent solution to getting this software working on a Windows 11 PC, making the device useless. If anyone from Cricut sees this, I am an experienced desktop software developer and would love to help get this problem fixed. The machine gets stuck when making designs. I see why someone retuned It because It does not function properly. I've tried multiple times and still doesn't work the way it's supposed to. I will be returning It.
