Yes your Maker can cut wood!
I was unsure about cutting this material. Once I got over that I was extremely pleased with the results! My bookmarks cut smoothly and I did not have to do the smoothing with sandpaper that was recommended by the designer of the SVG.

Disappointed
I was very happy with this purchase. The veneer kept chipping. I tried using the knife and the deep point. It chipped with both of them. It wasn't anything very detailed. It was a camel 5 inches in length. 🙁
