I use it for all my cake icing.
That's the only oil that I use for making biscuits, piecrust and frying meat. I'm 90 years plus, so have had a few years using this product. Highly recommend it.
I cook with cast iron dutch oven and skillets With cast iron you have to season them so I use Crisco shortening to cook with as well as seasoning the cookware.Awsome product works great and no problems using Crisco shortening got to love it never fails.
Used to spend a lot more money on peanut oil to achieve crispy fried chicken and eggrolls. However, decided to give Crisco a whirl and so glad I did. Everything is coming out totally delicious at a fraction of the cost. Will stick to Crisco, especially as it is a vegetarian product as well!
CRISCO, most of us grew up seeing this in the kitchen and its still here for our grandkids. This product does not disappoint. It is affordable and is always in stock.
This is the special ingredient for my pie shells having a crust that everyone loves! I also use it to oil my other baking dishes. It is the best for keeping banana bread from sticking to the pan!
There is a difference in the way they behave, oil or solid. Experiment and you'll see what I mean. The semi-solid is good for frying pancakes or waffles or greasing pans. Oil works better for recipes. Oh, you didn't know this? You're welcome.
We usually buy bigger containers. But only needed a little. It was one of those weeks where we had big bills to pay so didn't want to spend a lot. This is the ticket.
i tried to stop this order and in two hours ot had already went through to where i could not stop it. i ended up paying 16.00 for a item that is not worth 5.00. it want happen again though!
I tried to cancel this order when I found out it would cost $11.99 to deliver the $8.00 item. The customer service man said he could do that. Didn't happen. Also, the can appeared larger than it is.
