Fresh fruits and vegetables are great From Walmart, and with the trusted delivery service. I have no complaints about what I received from Walmart. I want to thank the people that do the shopping and in time delivery.
I love celery sticks with peanut butter as a snack...YUM! The celery hearts are already trimmed for this (with some small leaves and tiny segments of very small stalks attached to those leaves, but I like to eat those as they are), and the combination with the Adam's Chunky PNB is perfect! I can easily eat them as a meal when I'm looking for a light meal...
I prefer the hearts rather than the stalks because they are easier to slice. They are very tasty and I eat them with peanut butter or put them in tuna salad. They add a crunchy texture to many dishes which I like. Recently I sauted them in butter and put them in my cornbread sausage dressing for Thanksgiving dinner. Delish!
I have been using Walmart delivery for a very long time. I have been very happy until the last 2 deliveries. All of a sudden the delivery person has decided to leave my groceries in front of my garage door instead of my front door. As a result my dairy products were left in the extreme heat for almost an hour and I had to ask for a rebate. Rebates were no problem but that is not a solution I prefer. I now don't have the products and need to shop again. I didn't expect it to happen a second time but it did and now Im leery to order from my Walmart store again. What can I do to prevent this from happening again.?
Each order I order celery hearts. Most every time I throw out part of the celery because it is not good. This order I got the organic celery hearts, too my surprise some of one stark was rotten. Needless too say I have returned it . I will not buy celery again from Walmart. HMJ
Produce from Walmart is consistently poor quality and now if I receive something delivered via Walmart I am being instructed to physically return it to the store? Walmart specifically says that someone will return and pick it up, so why am I being told that I have to take it back to a store?
I’m so tired of receiving rotten produce from Walmart when I order pickup or delivery. This is what yesterday’s celery looked like. I decided to order the more expensive celery hearts, hoping it would be fresher than what I’ve been getting lately… Wrong!
this product is not fresh at all. it's not what's advertised. very poor quality. it looks like it was picked out of a garbage can to resell. the ribs of the celery are very thin. I don't call it freshness I call it garbage . paid almost $3. for such quality. celery Hearts not true. dont waste your money .
Ordering produce online appears to be a crap-shoot. Sometimes it's good. Other times the produce is in the early stages of rotting. This time, it was rotting, slimy, and gross. I didn't take photos, I just tossed it and reminded myself to not order produce for curbside pick-up from Walmart.
Very disappointed just opened up the package that I received today. The ends are very brown. Starting to wonder if you're choosing the back room stock for sale that's getting ready to be tossed three items I received on my Sunday delivery are all trash.
