Crock-Pot 7 Quart Round Enamel Cast Iron Covered Dutch Oven Slow Cooker, Blue

This is everything that is expected from the Crockpot name. It's enameled cast iron so she's has some weight to her. The lid fits as it should and the little knobbies on the underside of the lid directs the condensation away from the food. My last enameled pot , which was another brand, lasted 20 years so I expect that plus some years from this one !

Beautiful color, no defects, and I love the versatility of stovetop, oven, or fridge (for left-overs). I looked at other brands, but some, like Le Creuset (9 QT. $499.00) were WAY out of my budget. I also trust the CrockPot brand, and the $60 price, for my 7 QT. was right up my alley. Tomorrow, I'm deep-frying wings on the stovetop, and Sunday, braising beef short ribs, in the oven. I already own a 9QT electric Crockpot slow-cooker (which I love), but this will be SO much easier to operate, AND clean. Also adds versatility to my kitchen "arsenal". NOTE: A couple suggestions for the CrockPot Company: 1). Crock pot was shipped in an empty cardboard box, with bubble-wrap ON TOP of the item..... nothing on the bottom, where shipping impact may occur. 2). Enamel coating inside the pot and lid, was not applied to the inside rim-edge of the lid, so when you place the lid on the pot, it is an abrasive contact, which may lead to grinding off the enamel on the lip of the pot. This may be intentional-for some reason?

I have been looking for a good Dutch oven I could use on my glass top stove that was not overly expensive. This is perfect. Cooks well, looks great and cleans up easily.

I have been wanting this dog pot forever and I finally got it for an early birthday, Christmas, anniversary gift. I have fried hundred of chicken wings in it so far and cooked mini pot roast!!! love it love it love it❤️

High quality crock pot. Cooked a chicken with vegetables, delicious.

I've been using it for making sourdough bread and it has been great, even with the high oven temp needed for the bread.

Looks like it is well made

This was a much cheaper option than the one America's Test Kitchen recommended but it looks and cooks the same way. I love the color and it feels sturdy and heavy duty enough to last a long time. I cooked my first meal with it and got a really good, even crisp on my chicken. I can't wait to try more recipes and use my pot more often!

For the proce it was a great purchase, it works great. I use if for baking sourdough bread.
