I had had an udreamer first till I heard the quality it was terrible so I returned and turned to crosley. Amazing choice this player sounds amazing! Love it and if concerned about it damaging really all you need to do is clean very often and so far no skips no glitch and no scratch. 100 recommend.
It is one of the best things I’ve gotten myself it’s just the perfect size to fit on a table or desk very easy to set up and get it working I would recommend to get this for yourself or as a gift.
Item definitely resembles the old portable players that I remember belonging to my father when I was a child. He was also impressed and delighted with the gift! I'd pay triple what I did to see him smile with child-like excitement at the second life his childhood records have been given!
Bought this at last minute and had it delivered the day before Christmas! Great quality for the price.
I ordered and it got here the next day and packaging was good and safe 😍 husband is going to love his new gift!!
The pre adjusted speed for all three selectable settings is just a little too fast, and there is no way to adjust the speed by opening it up an adjusting the hardware. You’re just stuck, and if you know the songs you’re listening to, it will drive you nuts. It’s only positive is that it was truly out of box, plug and play. So a fine introduction into record players, I’m just out $50 now and already looking for a new one after only a few months.
I bought this as a gift but when it was opened it did not come with the power adapter!! It looks like it’s in good condition but really bummed about the missing part!! I called customer service and got hung up on?
this is a used crosley record player. the package was repacked and resealed. it doesnt look giftable, it looks messy and the box is messed up. i know this because i ordered two others from amazon for the same price and the boxes are different, sealed and in pristine condition. dont buy from this seller. i believe there may be some good ones, but your raking a huge risk. hopefully i can get a refund because i had actually cancelled this order about 10-15 minutes after i purchased it and they never cancelled it. they sent it right to my house.
The player will play your records sure, but the sound is flat two dimensional if you will. Heavy needle will sure play the record but will also tear up records as well without a counterweight. Nice colors and one wire set up make it super easy. would not buy again, i ended up returning it and going with a better brand after doing some research.
I read all the reviews prior to purchasing this for my teenage son for Christmas. We played his first couple records, which happened to be older (Elvis and Creed) they worked great and he was SO excited. The excitement was short lived when the next two records both skipped constantly with the newer records (Post Malone %26 Foo Fighters). I had no idea why this would be happening since the player and the records were brand new. I brought the records that skipped to the record store, they tested them even though they knew right when I explained what the player looked like what the problem was. The records played fine at the store. These suitcase type record players are not made to handle the weight of new records, it makes them wobble causing them to skip. He explained this is extremely common. While it's easy to use, easy to work, and looks great, it isn't very functional at all. So unless you are only playing records from around over 20 years ago, it's a waste of money.
