Was hard to put together. Definitely need two people.

Don't be fooled by the EXCEPTIONALLY good price. I did not expect such quality, but this is one sturdy pair of chairs. I know because I assembled them. The metal bars of the legs do not rest on the ground. There are rubbery disks on the base that provide cushioning in case of rough or unleveled surfaces. Those cushioning disks also envelope the majority of places that would otherwise be metal-on-metal, and therefore be less stable. Additionally, all tools and hardware are included. The manufacturer even added EXTRA hardware, just in case. Assembly would have been smoother with an additional pair of hands. But, everything is smoother with more hands. After I made all of my mistakes producing the first chair, the second one only took 30 minutes. Sitting in one chair while you assemble the second really seems to make it easier. The instructions say to assemble on a carpeted area. I have no carpeting. So, I used beach towels on my patio. I still make some scratches (minor) in the paint. I love these chairs! They go wonderfully with my midcentury decor. And the price is amazing. There were sellers offering a single chair for this price. It's a GREAT value.

I have wanted these metal chairs for years, but put off due to the price. The sale price was great. They look great on my patio.

it was supposed to be glossy finish, got it opened up and it is flat. didn't feel like packing it all back up and shipping it back so i guess I'll get some gloss lacquer and tray and fix it. stay away.
