Had a set on my 2012 Outback and was very pleased, installed a set on the wife's Kia Sorento. These tires are 5-ply, very quiet riding, handles great, expells water great and even did well in light snow. couldn't beat the price, ordered online, shipped to house, scheduled install and there were on in less than 30 minutes...I have no complaints.
Was very skeptical about ordering these tires online. After doing some research on the brand I found them recommended in Car and Driver article so I decided to purchase. Extremely pleased with their performance! I have had them a few months now and have driven through downpours and snow through mountainous terrain and they grip extremely well! They are also incredibly smooth on the highway. These perform as well as the Continental's that they replaced at a fraction of the cost. The installation was seamless as well. I scheduled online during checkout, they called the day before to confirm and verified the tires had arrived. Was in and out in just about an hour but had wipers replaced at the same time.
These tires are wonderful. They are working out very good. They're tough and durable and hold up like they're supposed to. They do great in the rain, no slipping and sliding no hydroplaning. The ride very smooth. I've had no problems. Installation was a breeze. I went to Walmart. I showed them the barcode. They scanned it. They went to the back. They got the tires, they put them on, and had me out of there in no time! Hassle free no worries installation! Just show up, be on time and they'll get you in there and out of there.
Tires are great. Only issue was having Walmart put them on for me. They didn't put the valve stem in correctly and it went flat within a day. I had to put a spare on and drive back to have the tire fixed, which they refused to put back on the car for me. I hope this doesn't affect the longevity of tire too much since it went completely flat.
The Crossmax CHTS-1 235/60R18 103V is a highly reviewed highway-terrain tire designed for crossovers and SUVs. It delivers an exceptional balance of long tread life, smooth and quiet highway comfort, and reliable wet-weather traction, all at a highly competitive price point
No issues at all with tires. BIG PROBLEM....tech did not properly inflate tire. Car was wobbly and all over the road, Went back to have situation corrected. It's a good thing I did not make it to the highway. Shame on you Walmart tech! How could you not inflate the tire? That is tires 101!
Online say 18.00 to install but was charged 24 a tire, Appointment was at 8am and got a message to be on time or lose your appointment. They didn't get started until around 8;45 am. Me and my daughter went out for breakfast and to kill some time and returned and they still weren't done. I'm upset because my daughter works third shift and I tried to get her in and out so she can get home and rest before her kids were out of school. I planned this out a week ahead after the tires were delivered to my house which is another thing. The staff didn't know how to have the tires delivered to the store instead of sending it to me.
Purchased/installed in May, had to replace in December of same year. Less than 10k miles (mostly highway) on tires and they were worn down to 2mm tread depth
I ordered tires online through Walmart.com. The ordering process was simple and the price was great. However, getting them installed at my local Walmart has been extremely frustrating. Walmart.com canceled my installation appointment because the tires “had not arrived,” even though they were in the store—just not entered into the system yet. When I arrived for my appointment on the 14th, I was told the appointment had been canceled but that they would still install the tires as originally planned. At that time, I was informed that my installation fee had already been refunded to my card due to the cancellation and that I needed to pay the installation fee again. No such refund ever appeared. I spoke with a manager and still had to pay the installation fee a second time. I was told the refund would appear within 10 business days. It has now been longer than that. After four follow-up calls to both Walmart.com and the store, I still have not received the refund. Additionally, when I call the store, they claim to have no record of the installation at all. This raises serious concerns about whether my tire warranty, air checks, rotations, and other included services will be honored, since there is no proof of installation in the system. At this point, I am extremely dissatisfied and am considering disputing the charge with my credit-card provider. However, I would prefer that Walmart resolve this directly. I am requesting the following: Immediate processing of the missing refund for the original installation fee Confirmation in writing that my tire installation is properly documented in the system Written assurance that my warranty and included services (air checks, rotations, etc.) will be honored without issue I hope Walmart will make this right as soon as possible. Please respond promptly so I do not need to escalate this further.
I didn't have the chance to try out the tires. Supposedly, the tires were delivered elsewhere, but somehow, Walmart's system still marked them as "picked up." After a couple of hours of wasted time early in the morning, nothing was done and the tires would not be found. Walmart customer service was supposed to issue a credit for the wasted hours but nothing has been done. Be warned. Get your tires somewhere else.
