Dont be fooled, this bed is solid as a rock when assembled correctly and have a good box spring! THIS ISNT A PLATFORM BED, it's low to the ground and comes with 4 slats for a BOX SPRING. If you don't want a box spring, then you will have to go to Lowe's and buy more 1x4s and cut the headboard down. Super happy w this purchase, put it through all types of “scenarios” this past few weeks and it's a good solid frame when you follow the instructions. Don't let the other posts deter you...but realize what you are buying! Get it dude!

Easy to put together took about 40mins between me and my boyfriend

Overall, this bed does what I expected it to. Its stable, but not long term. One of the support beams isnt long enough and there is crack between the box spring and the baseboard which isn't appealing. I really needed a bed so this does the job. If there wasnt a gap I would have given it 5 stars

I bought this for my 12 year old son as part of his Christmas room redo. It arrived in a timely fashion. It did NOT COME WITH INSTRUCTIONS!! I was able to find a similar bed being put together on you tube and winged it. It turned out great. My son loves it. The only problems were the absence of instructions and also thin wood support panels.

Not really what I was expecting for the price. Very cheaply made. All pieces come in the headboard, so once you remove it all and put it together the headboard is hollow. Sits very, VERY low to the ground. It's like a platform bed, minus the platform. You get thin, flimsy wood slats instead. My favorite part? The fact that my child is being held up by bolts. Yep, bolts. The entire frame attaches to the headboard by bolts. Normally, the side rails would slide into the wood posts attached to the headboard. But not this bed. You attach bolts onto the headboard then slide the side rails into those bolts. Bolts people. You would also assume that you wouldn't need to use box springs with this bed. Get a decent mattress and that's all you'd need, right? Nope. Not a chance. Better get that box spring while you're at it. There is a huge space in between the slats in the middle of the bed, that if you do not get a box spring, the mattress will dip in the middle. For as cheap as this bed was made, I wouldn't have paid more than $75. Unfortunately I went off the reviews and paid $120 for this cheap piece of thing. Not very happy with my purchase price.

Okay so overall its nice one of the legs that holds up the headboard was chipped but not a big deal because the mattress would be covering it. I love the secret zipper in the back of the headboard nice touch! It did have a smell to it like chemical/paint smell which was kind of hard to get out of my room. However if you do buy this set I recommend two box springs depending on how high your mattress fits just one mattress and a box springs makes it sit lower than the picture shows.

I just received this item today. The box was damaged and when I opened the box the headboard has a rip in the leather at the bottom left corner. I would really like to know what Wal-Mart is going to do about it because this is the only way that I see to contact Wal-Mart online.

I love the FRAME But its VERY thin parts put together , i would recommend it short term use but its not a frame that will last a long time you have to be Very very careful or something will break EASILY. Ps , my husband just put it together today … 1/05/2022

The wood planks to hold the mattress up are very cheap wood. One of the planks was broken when my package arrived so I had to go to the hardware store and purchase another. Also, the headboard goes up very high so make sure you have a box spring to go under the mattress !
