Would not detect buried 110v and 220v power lines.
I purchased this tool hoping to trace the route of underground power lines between my house and an out bldg. It was advertised as being able to detect lines up to 2 feet deep. I experimented with it and would not detect lines 6 inches deep. The built in flashlight worked.

While it was easy to use it would have to improve to be rated worthless. I was attempting to locate a buried sprinkler valve. It would send me in 2 opposite directions to trace the same wire from the originating point - and never found ANY valves. Returning it
