Every time I've bought these, the apples have been fresh and crisp. That honestly doesn't always happen with other apple snack packs, so I've been really happy with these. They haven't steered me wrong yet! I also love how easy they are to just throw into lunch boxes — easy peasy and super convenient for busy mornings.
I cant eat the skin on apples and peeling them all the time gets to be troublesome! Sooo, gave these a try! These apple slices are crisp and fresh...no mushy spots either! Great time saver when time is limited. Healthy, fresh snack for anytime! Great lunch mate for anyone... and kids and I eat'em all up! Not too expensive but worth the few extra cents not to have to mess with peeling them daily! Apples stay fresh too. Perfect in every sense of the word!
The apples were already starting to turn translucent around the edges when I receive them from Walmart. The taste was tart and bitter. They were fresh and the small packs are great for packed lunches.
I love to take these in my lunch but lately they have been turning brown when I get them, slimy, and within a couple days of expiration
These apples are pre packed in individual servings, but you need to eat them within one week, because they go bad quickly.
The majority of the time I get these, the apples are already starting to turn brown and taste bad. They are slimy and soft. Even though the expiration date may not have expired the apples are already old. If you do happen to get a package of fresh apples they are quite good.
i had this in a pickup order, and unfortunately, most of the apple packs had soggy, turning brown apple slices in there. I'm not sure if it's a product issue or if it wasn't refrigerated properly at the store? either way i, I'll definitely inspect this myself before buying in the future. easily, a third of the apple slices had to be tossed, not recommended for a pickup order, they're just scanning and bagging, not checking for quality.
These apple packs are the perfect size for what I needed them for for a weekend trip. Only complaint is that some of the apples were already browning and looked rotten. Wound up having to toss these apple packs. Wishing that whoever picked out my online order had been a little more selective and not picked out bad apples.
I opened two of the grab and go packets and every single one of the slices of apples were slimy and slightly spoiled and tasted of mold, so I put them outside for my squirrels. I do not recommend this brand They were not crisp and they had an unusual aftertaste. You can see in the picture. The shiny parts are the slimy parts and the slightly darker color. They’re just slime.
Preordered for pickup October 4th. They sold me apples that expire October 7th????? How can a person eat 6 packages of apples in 3 days? As soon as I opened them on the 6th they taste bad. By the 7th they were browning and I could eat them. I am returning to store. Go inside and pick your own fruit and meat.
