Purchased this aftermarket backup camera for installation into my mother's 2012 Camry LE. She definitely needs a backup camera. From start to finish, the installation took me a good 3 hours. The wiring harness mounts perfectly to the back of the stereo head unit. After the install was completed and the stereo, console, door sills, truck insulation and trunk deck panels were replaced, I turned the key, shifted into R and bam! The face of the stereo displayed a perfect rear view video. The backup camera kit is easy to install if you have the tools to remove the various dashboard panels, center console, door sill, and trunk deck panels. I recommend this camera kit and I also recommend watching YouTube videos on the proper way to remove and replace the necessary interior pieces of a 2012 Camry.
