Crypto Wallet, Seed Phrase Storage for Cold Wallets

Before ordering this crypto wallet, I was aware of similar crypto cold wallets that required you to convert your recovery seed words into numbers (using the standard list for the BIP39 wallets) and then stamp the codes into a metal plate. The quality of the metal and stamping rods are solid. The materials are durable and should endure the elements. You receive two plates to encrypt two 24 recovery seed words. Therefore, you can store the recovery seed words for two crypto wallets. The instruction are clear and concise. What I really liked about this crypto wallet is the added and layered security. Once you get beyond downloading their corresponding words and numbers pdf, then aligning the words and numbers with your seed words, all you must do is choose two digits that only you will know to switch. This switch of two digits makes this method even more secure than similar secured cold crypto wallets. Even if someone finds and breaks into your wallet, and they know the corresponding list, two of the digits are switched. Therefore, the person trying to decode the numbers won't know and will not be able to decode the correct seed words. A bitcoin coin is also included where you can punch the two secret reversed digits and keep in a separate place. Stamping the numbers into the metal plate was the aspect of the process that I wasn't looking forward to, knowing how arduous and time consuming it could be. I didn't expect that process to be easier with this crypto wallet set, but I care a lot for the safety of my crypto seed phrase and I know that this method can pass the test of time.

The stamping process is not easy but you do it once. Their encryption process is ingenious and protects your seed phrase if someone finds the plates. Storing the key on the coin is also unique.

This was interesting as it uses a code to create a cryptogram, turning the words into numerals. It also uses the coin to generate a 'key' that makes the combinations unique to you. However if you lose any part of the coding or key you lose the ability to decipher this and I am not convinced anyone else may be able to decipher it if you did not include them in the instructions or if you became unavailable to unlock it yourself. This seems way more complicated and complex then I was planning for, I ended up etching my seed phrase onto the plate instead.
