having different flavor suet out has brought new birds to our yard. Yellow-Rump Warblers and Baltimore Orioles and i live SE VA.
I was concerned when it appeared my WM was carrying suet products that I didn't recognize. Since I was already in store, I bought several of them to try. To my suprise, they vanished faster than the earlier brand I had purchased from my store. This, Fruit n' Nut Treat was covered, both sides of the feeder with little tiny bush birds #I apologize for not knowing exactly what they were# I am a little concerned about the food coloring aspect, but the birds in my area don't seem to care about artificial colorings as long as the supplied treat is yummy and apparently it is. I am in the Pacific Northwest and can tell you that the suet products by this company that I have tried have had good acceptance. Their Party Mix suet block also received rave reviews, but by different birds. I guess I'll have to put out more feeders to keep them all happy. I haven't tried any of the No Melt Suet Dough so can't comment on that range of their products.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fruit and nut mix brought in a nice variety of birds. We enjoyed observing them each time they would come and visit. We refrigerated these before opening, which made them easy and clean to set out.
Can be purchased in Walmart for 1/9 the cost.
I don't know why, but the birds around our house didn't care for this.
Woodpeckers and wrens enjoy this suet but not enough to warrant paying $10 or more for just one cake. I recommend Berry Treat Suet, 11.75 oz, Wild Bird Food, 8 Pack instead.
Way too expensive for the quality of the suet - birds do not care for this one!
Actually I would give this zero stars. The suet is great, but Walmart did not give a quality and one suet was $7.48. At the store this suet is $.99. Total rip-off. Will never order again! In fact if someone from Walmart reads this I would like the other six suet that I should have received at that price. Dissatisfied!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the 12 pack of this suet and put it out as soon as I got it. It's been a couple of weeks already and it has only gotten a couple nibbles. For some reason the birds just don't care for it. Other suet is gone in a couple of days.
I agreed 100% with the last review ,for one very small suet the price, nearly $8.00 is totally out of line, when I ordered this I just assumed it would most likely be a pack of 6 or near that amount not ONE, you should probably do some serious price comparisons before you get sued! LuAnn
