CSI 82002479 D-Fense Dust Insecticide 1-lb

I had this product recommended for German Cockroaches by a pest contractor on a video online. He seemed to know what he was talking about and recommended this as part of six or so different products. I followed his advice and only recently applied it, so I cannot comment on whether or not it works, as it is too soon and there are many products that could claim victory. However in regards to the application, I applied it as a dust and it seemed to come out of the dispenser I bought (separately) better than the other dust I applied. I will note that as a dust it is dusty so when it recommends ppe, you might want to heed that advice. I was happy to see also that though I bought it for German Cockroaches, it is also supposed to help with numerous other pests such as ants, spiders, and wasps, so I am hoping that long-term this will be a good thing.

Difficult to spray the powder up into the holes. need a delivery system that can compensate for vertical delivery.

You can buy the same active ingredient from Bayer for twice the price. The main ingredient is a man made variation of pyretherin, which is a widely used eco-friendly insecticide derived from chrysanthemums. Even in this form it is very benign according to the EPA. BUT, don't put it where it might run off and contact fish, and please, please, do not use it where it might kill honeybees. It was very effective for my use, which was to eliminate an in-ground yellow jacket nest. The chemical will break down in the soil.

I used it to kill wasps, worked great!

This is the same as Delta Dust. Works well. Great product to start the Spring out with to get a jump on some of those pesky invaders.

It is not as effective as described.

The box arrived with the bottle opened and powder got all over me and my counter. I reached out to the company, who at first tried to deny it was their product. After I sent a picture of the shipping order, Michelle A., the customer rep, finally - after several emails back and forth- offered me a 10% refund. 25% of the powder was lost in the shipping box, never mind the amount I had to get off myself, my clothes and my counter top.
