as described nothing special but handle is big for my hand but I have small hands but that's really not a problem sharp and stiff

With a bit of extra sharpening, I finally have knife able to score snapper skin to prevent curling in the skillet. None of my Genso kitchen knives were up to the task. Scalpels rust too quickly for re-use. A superb and reasonably priced choice for fish from a known American company even if manufactured in China

Like the feel of the handle. However the hole in the handle potentially creates a weakness in the blade.
