Cuisinart 1.1-Cu. Ft. 1000-Watt Countertop Microwave Oven with Sensor Cook and Inverter Technology

This was a replacement for our other Cuisinart which we had for 8 yrs. We use it on a shelf we had constructed when we did a new kitchen. It saves counter space. It was the size we needed and I have no doubt it will serve us as long as our previous Cuisinart did.

I have loved my past two Cuisinart microwaves and decided to replace it with the new Inverter technology. So much more quiter than my previous microwave. Haven't used it as much yet but it sure does a good job in assuring things are hot and in less time. So far, so good. I just love all my Cuisinart products. They complete my kitchen.

This microwave replaced one I'd had for a number of years. It is quiet and the inverter technology is awesome! I like the handle instead of pushing to open it and it's very roomy inside. I have a Cuisinart kitchen which speaks volumes, right?

This microwave oven does what it is designed to do. When I defrost meat, it does not start to cook the edges like my old microwave did; but following the instructions booklet, it defrosts evenly. I also like the soften or melt feature for butter or cream cheese. And I want to say that I enjoy the beverage feature. It warms beverages of 4, 8 or 12 ounces quite nicely. Be careful, though, because the popcorn feature can be a little over zealous... probably due to the power wattage. So, stay nearby to listen when the popcorn stops popping to remove it so that it doesn't scorch. I'd rather have more power, than not enough.

Bought this to replace a Cuisinart I had for many years. The Sensor Cook works fairly well for most things. The Inverter Technology is amazing. Temperature is consistent at all power levels. The microwave feels solid, unlike some other brands I looked at in the stores which were so flimsy the doors didn't even close properly. I just hope the quality hasn't diminished since I last purchased a microwave and this one will serve me well for many years. Only time will tell.

We bought this microwave oven to replace another brand that failed to heat food two weeks past the extended warranty that we had purchased when we bought it. When we checked with customer service for repair options, it was cheaper to buy a new microwave. After extensive research, we decided to buy the Cuisinart Microwave because of the brand reliability ratings and the only three year warranty of all the ovens available. Even though the Cuisinart is smaller than our previous oven, it is much quieter and quite efficient. It also seems to require less energy to function. We are happy with all the features, especially the short cut buttons which start the oven with a one press. For example, a press of the "1" starts cooking on high for 1 minute. The sensor cook settings also make cooking much easier to figure out. We tested it cooking steaks only to find out that the steaks came out medium well and at the proper temperature for eating. So far, so good. It has been an excellent addition to our kitchen.

This might only be 1000W, but it is phenomenal! It cooks in less time than on packages describing cook time based on 1200W. Overall, the inside is big enough for everything we own except one square plate. This is far superior to what we had previously.

This is a great Inverter 1000-Watt countertop microwave oven! The stainless steel and striking black exterior gives it a stylish look with classy finish. Unlike most of all other brands that have push-button door release, I like the nice handle convenience on the door of this microwave. It's quick “Start” button on itself has easy ‘+30 second' add on time. To use this feature, you just press additionally on start button during any of the cooking process in use- Express Cook, Auto Cook, or Manual Cook. Another genius feature I liked is the 'Sensor Cook' button that takes a guesswork out of heating up a small or a big meal, by automatically setting power-level and adjusting cooking/defrosting time. Using inverter technology, it reheats food or heats frozen food more consistently, with very little or no cold spots. After my extensive online research on all brands, I was looking for a higher power (1200-watt) oven for faster cooking/defrosting time, but what put this Cuisinart microwave oven above all others were the two best features: first, the noise level while cooking is bare minimum. It's one of the quietest microwave ovens in market. And second, Cuisinart's 3-year limited warranty is the longest of all ovens available! I'm pleased with this purchase and have been using it for about 2-months.

After two over-the-range microwaves failed prematurely, we reverted back to a counter top microwave. Purchased this model after reading reviews and looking at models in stores. So far it does the job quietly and effectively. Only concerns are you have to press extra hard on the keypad and the door sounds tinny and feels flimsy when opening and closing. Unit feels less solidly built than older microwaves, but that seems to be the state of most new microwaves these days (unlike our 30 yr old, still functioning microwave in my husband's shop that has a solid feel and sound to it). I'm hoping Cuisinart doesn't stop functioning as soon as the warranty is up, like what happened with our last microwave (another brand).

This microwave works well and is much quieter than other makes and models I've owned. I was concerned that the door handle would be obtrusive, but haven't found it to be so. I would love to see future models include a plate that stays in place, and stop beeping when the door is opened or the "stop/cancel" button is pressed.
