Love the shape of this pot- the weight of it and how evenly it cooks! The graduated measurements inside are very useful. I was a little disappointed that the outside bottom scorched on the first use and I cannot remove that. I thought I kept the heat low enough for a first use- but guess not. Now - I will tell you that I love pots. I have my copper bottom Revere and a non stick set of stackable pots…multiple cast iron porcelain pots…lovely granite finish skillets… 3 yellow pots because they look nice on a shelf… 2 huge stock pots for collards etc…a canning pot and 2 pretty flowered pots that are never used. This pot is most lovely- my husband (who does not understand my obsession remarked that even though he does not share my love for pots- this is a really nice pot! He also likes the soups I have been making in it!
Purchased this based on previous experiences with Cuisinart products and how they stand behind their workmanship. This is an upgrade from a Tools of the Trade 8 qt & has ticked most of the boxes- -Price was decent, Shipping was timely and done right -thumbs up -Pot is plenty roomy for the big bones used in my broth - Don't usually purchase cookware with attached bottoms but this wasn't available in Tri-Ply- can't win 'em all- that's why I give it 4 stars - Anticipating many years of use from it
It's beautiful and seems good quality.
I love this pot! I have a set of Cuisinart pots, so staying with the brand made my choice easy. I needed a pot larger than in the set, but smaller than my lobster pot, for making larger quantities of soup. This is perfect! It's nicely shaped, cooks evenly, easy to clean, but the best for me is the clear cover to see the soup as it simmers!
I love all of my Cuisinart pot. I have several Cuisinart products and they are wonderful and so easy to clean. They cook my food evenly.
Beautiful extra large pot for when you need to make a lot of soup. Just be sure to turn down the heat a bit to avoid a possibility of scortching.
