I tried the stone for the first time tonight in a 500 deg. F oven. It worked great! Fast cooking with a crisp crust. Way better than a metal pan.

Got this as an alternative to the one sold my manufacturer. works great to keep meats away from direct heat.

This and light, and not too large... probably just right for a BBQ. It seems to be susceptible to breaking, so handle it gently. I have used it once and was happy.

This pizza stone is priced accurately. I wasn't sure if I wanted a stone or not so I started with this cheaper one instead of the expensive high-end stones online. I make pizza from scratch and if it's not cooked on the stone it turns out soggy. Regardless of what the instructions say it HAS to be oiled for use or you WILL have a very hard mess to clean up. If there are parts that stick to stone just soak in water and scrape off with a plastic scraper or gently use a kitchen brush with NO soap. Also do NOT preheat stone for use. Frozen instead of fresh pizza can be used also nuggets or corn dogs etc. Perfect for somebody wanting to try out a pizza stone before investing in a more expensive stone.

Bought it for the charcoal grill, does not get very hot or keep its heat so the pizza crust not crispy, I bought Lodge cast iron, wow akes pizza like the restaurant

I am so sorry it's not my type to comment something in a bad way. but the product changed its color after baking.. it was beige when I bought it but now it has black and gray colors on it like big unshaped shapes something like black gray clouds for a specification. I trust the quality of cuisinart and I use many products of them but for this one, I don't recommend.. I even could not get a refund for this product and as I said unfortunately it's a trash...

I am very unhappy with this purchase. I have had pizza stones before and loved them. Not this one. It has been nothing but a headache. Pizza garlic bread so everything has been stuck to it. I am so disappointed and basically I wasted money on it. Now I still don't have a pizza stone plus out of the cost.
