I love my new knife! I cut bread with it but I also use it to cut open watermelons and cantaloupes. It is sharp and fits in my hand just right!

Super sharp out of the box (cut myself twice when bread changed from crust to soft in the middle), but after several uses, now seems less notable. Personally, I am still uncertain about the longevity of its sharp edge.

I needed a second bread / meat slicing knife and this one works well at a great price. It's not as heavy and rigid as my more expensive go to knife, but it gets the job done.

The blade on this knife has a larger taper than my previous bread knife, which makes it less effective at cutting artisan sourdough loaves. This knife had a particularly hard time cutting this type of bread, whereas my previous knife easily sliced through. If you are only using it to cut, for example, sandwich loafs, I'm sure it will be fine. But beward, the blade taper does make a difference, and you will notice it on hard crusted breads.
