Cuisinart Chef'S Classic Enameled Cast Iron 3 Qt. Round Covered Casserole-Provencal Blue

Great time to cook , the quality is perfect , no extra flavor to the food and easy to clean

Cuisinart is similar in performance to my La Creuset but at a much lower cost. I have 4 various enameled Dutch ovens and they all perform well. Any of them can chip if you aren't careful. My black lid knob melted in the oven and Cuisinart just sent me an entire new 3 quart pot. Amazing service! Very impressive.

I received this as a gift after talking about a smaller casserole for a while. Love the size. I've made braises, stew, red beans and rice plus bread in this casserole. Cleans up very well.

This is generally a very good purchase for a very good enameled Dutch oven. There is one non-issue to be aware of. The lip of the casserole dish and the underlying portion of the lid that touches are both seemingly not enameled. On mine I placed a bit of oil and baked it in “seasoned”. It doesn't rust so I suspect it is either already seasoned or isn't the raw cast iron it seemed to be. But in any case it doesn't seem to be an issue. Other than that I have done a pot roast with excellent results and baked bread in it also with excellent results. Is you are looking for a three quart enameled cast iron casserole dish this unit fits the bill.

Love our Cuisinart Dutch Oven. It's lasted us years. Cuisinart stands behind their products as well, and replacing it when the enamel started chipping. ++

Initially, I was disappointed. On close inspection, the lid looked like it had been dinged before it was glazed and there were three small spots that must've come in contact with some caustic material that left etching marks. But as the cardinal red pot perched on my back burner patiently waiting for me to make up my mind as to whether it should be returned or not,it grew on me. It was so lovely!. I finally broke down and used it. It's a wonderful pot that has performed excellently for every task I've thrown it's way. I would definitely recommend this 3 quart pot.

It is slow to heat up on the cooktop. Does a great job on soups beans sauces. Be careful not to god over medium heat as sauces can burn to bottom. I have yet to put it in the ovenZ. I actually bought it for the stovetop.

I will not recommend this product I got mine for a birthday gift in July it has began to chip and I only used it 8-10 times I have to other pots from different brands without any problems
