Cuisinart Chef'S Classic Enameled Cast Iron 7 Qt. Round Covered Casserole-Provencal Blue

I picked up the 5-qt red Cuisinart Dutch oven from Walmart—even though most recipes call for a 5.5-qt, this one works beautifully. I've wanted a high-quality Dutch oven for years and had looked at this particular pot before, even though it's usually priced well over my budget, almost as expensive as the more famous brand. When I saw it on special for 80% off, I was honestly stunned and couldn't resist. I assumed the slightly smaller size explained the deal. I made a simple chicken-and-rice dish and followed the recipe exactly. The results were outstanding—much better than I expected. This pot is heavy, sears chicken perfectly, and cleanup was effortless. An absolute steal. I couldn't be happier.

I saw the review on Cook's Country about enamel cast iron casseroles. I have been in the market for one for a long time and was saving my $ for a Le Creuset as that has been the highest standard. But, after watching the review segment, I decided to give it a try and I am TOTALLY impressed. I even bought the 7 qt. Great product and highly recommend!

I love this pot! I received this as a Christmas gift from my Husband. The first thing I made was a one pot dish of fish stew made with Cod. Turned out perfect with nice even heating and large surface for sautéing. Also the color red is so beautiful and vibrant.

For years I have been putting off purchasing a dutch oven due to price. When I saw that America's Test Kitchen listed this one as their "Best Buy", I knew I found what I was looking for. I received it as a Christmas gift and have used it once a week since then. It is a bit on the heavy side, but other than that...I can't believe how long I went without have one.

I have been wanting one kf these for a long time. I did some research and decided on Cuisinart. I'm so happy with the durability and easy to clean surface of the 7 qt dutch oven. I love that its dishwasher safe but i find myself jjst hand washing it.

This is a top-rated Dutch oven and is very well made. Loads less expensive than other high-quality ones out there. I bought the same version in 2016 but used it in the oven too many times at 500 degrees. I don't recommend doing that. This new one won't endure the same treatment, so it should last a lifetime.

I bought this Dutch oven for cooking sour dough bread specifically, But im sure I'll venture out with many other dishes too once I slow down on my current obsession😅. Im absolutely loving my dutch oven and it does a great job cooking beautiful loaves of bread!

I have used my Dutch oven twice and love the results! Even heating! Easy to clean! My only caveat is to say is don't bump it. I barely bumped the lid against the pot and the lid enamel chipped. I didn't realize how careful you have to be. The chip is small and only cosmetic, but I would have been more careful if I had known.

I received this as a Christmas gift from my husband and have used it several times since. The only change I would make-is to the lid handle so it could be removed w/o using a hot pot holder.

The pot arrived in an unusable condition, so I NEVER got the chance to cook with it. There is a deep scratch that damaged the enamel all the way down to the metal, making it unusable. That scratch was NOT caused by shipping in my opinion. There is a big chip on the outside of pot near the bottom, also. I was disappointed and had been looking forward to using this pan over Thanksgiving weekend. This Cuisinart had been rated by ATK as runner up to another very popular brand of Dutch oven.
