A Big pot for big jobs. This pot is great for deep frying or on top of the stove frying up some pork chops. I love that I can brown the pork chops and throw them in the oven and not have to worry whether the pan can do the job. It easily goes from stove top to oven without worry. They can handle up to 500 degrees which you won't find in many brands. The handles are a long so if you're going to put it in the over, be sure to use both hands when removing! I love it, clean classic look and a multi tasker for sure!

The lid is surprisingly heavy and very thick glass. I don't see the reason for such thick glass. The pan is already heavy because it's big. I had to return it because the lid is unnecessarily heavy.

NOT INDUCTION! Don't bother! If you want a regular expensive fry pan this might be for you. but if you need one to use with an induction cooktop it wont work even though the description shows it is, but isn't :( Expensiive waste of time.
