I like this saucepan
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great little saucepan! The 2-quart size is perfect for everyday cooking, and it heats evenly. The stainless steel feels sturdy and well-made, and the included lid fits nicely and is compatible with my tri-ply 3qt saucepan. Easy to clean and a good size for making sauces, heating soup, or cooking smaller portions. Very happy with it!

Best 4quart pan especially for rice!
This sauce pan is perfect for making rice. Never boils over. Highly recommend!

Probably will hold up to a lifetime of abuse
Great saucepan, bought it to make caramel. Wish the economics of manufacturing these days would allow Cuisinart to make this item domestically. A wire whisk will lightly scratch it up. Not sure if that is just a cosmetic issue or not. The included directions do caution to not use metal utensils if you want to preserve to mirror finish inside this saucepan. Note: I bought this item specifically because I wanted an alternative to my non-stick saucepan for use with certain recipes (like caramel).

I liked everything about this 4 quart pot. The one feature that was the most important for me was its weight. It is very light which benefited me in the kitchen because i have arthritis.

Good size, but the handle is too small for a gallon pan. It needs to be larger to make it comfortable for that amount of weight. (a gal. of water weighs 8.3 lbs /-) Would have preferred a glass lid. Appears to be made well

My sauce pan
I bought this pan I loved it until I I used it. It stained on the first use plus it gets black spots. What causes this ?

Don't like edge on this pot. It doesn't have a rolled edge. This unrolled edge seems likely to possibly cause a cut when washing or handling this pot
