[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second Cuisinart coffee grinder I've purchased. The first one was more manual, which is why I purchased this one when I found it. The touchscreen is perfect, making the whole process much easier that on the older model.
Just what I wanted. I can grind as little as one cup worth of cappuccino and quality seems great so far. Plus looks sharp on my counter.
Love it ! Much quieter then my cheaper one.. love the touch screen.. I like that I can select how many cups I need unlike my cheaper one.. does a great job grinding each coffee bean.. u would highly recommend this grinder to anyone who loves fresh ground coffee.. Thanks Cusinart !
I purchased this as a replacement for a similar unit, though same brand name, that had quit functioning. Really good luck with this manufacturer, so it made it easy for me to make this purchase. I really like the modern look, especially compared to my previous grinder. It fits in with my decor much better. This unit is much quieter than my old one, and yet it functions similarly. As far as durability, I can only hope to get 5 years of daily use out of this one like I did my last one.
first ever burr grinder, it makes a big difference. easy to use touchscreen with multiply modes (manual, by cup, by time). easy to clean, very few parts. very quiet compared to my older blade grinder.
Like the ease of use. I use the manual function and like that it tracks number of cups ground.
Awesome. Has many features to help grinding coffee to desired consistency Super easy to clean
The grinder does a great job grinding. It's louder than I expected. I also expected it to grinder slower, as to not overheat the beans. Overall, it does a good job.
It's a good-looking grinder that fits in very well next to my Cuisinart coffee maker. I got that particular coffee maker because it brews up to 14 cups (which I then refrigerate for morning iced coffees), and this burr grinder can be set to prepare grounds for 14 cups! A great match. The touch screen is easy to use, and keeps the quantity setting so the next time I want to grind a pot-full, I merely touch the power button to wake up the machine, then touch the now-illuminated button just above it to start the grinder. With so much coffee being used up per grind, I do wish the hopper were larger — I've taken to just topping up the beans each time I grind, rather than have it run out of them mid-grind (which it did once, very early on in my time with it). That makes it a smidgen less convenient than I'd hoped, but no biggie. It also takes a long time to grind 14 cups worth of beans, and it is quite loud. The timing is not an issue, since it takes longer than grind-time to fill the carafe from the RO faucet, but the noise bothers me a bit, in that I'm usually up before my wife and have, at times, postponed the grinding to give her a bit more shut-eye. I should note, too, that the grounds are shot out of the grinder against the opposite interior wall of the collection bin, where they stick a bit, requiring some scraping to get 'em off, and since the grounds are a bit sticky and, thus, clumpy, I have to be careful when dumping them from the wide-mouthed hopper into the coffee maker so a clump doesn't plop outside the filter cone. Just another little detail to attend to… To summarize: it looks good, works well, it isn't perfect, and I'm happy with the purchase.
I buy this coffee grinder about a month ago, so far I very happy with the quality and consistency
